I'm talking about that song that comes to people's minds as soon as they think of a particular artist. That song that gets overplayed by radio as if its the artist's only good song. Shanice had some hits on the R&B charts (USA) in the 80s like "Can You Dance" and "No Half Steppin" when she was around 12 years old. There was also the duet with the 80's group called Kiara "This Time" that was popular. "I Love Your Smile" was the only song that crossed over to top 40 pop. "Silent Prayer" with Johnny Gill, which was from the same album as "I Love Your Smile" (Inner Child) was an R&B hit. I have all 5 of her albums and she's recording a new one now. Shanice doesn't get any radio play, but she's a great singer.
