You really didn't have back ups? I mean for the really long term threads isn't there some point you can go back to and recapture the info. In case of the database it seems you would be able to recapture the records that referred to GD3 and add them back to the current database.

And even when files are deleted they are still on the drive. It is just the name in the index that points to them that is deleted. Of course after time they are overwrtten so by now it may no longer be there and a table in a database is different but it just seems so odd.

I was shocked that everything was gone. I was gonna post my two cents on that Election thread! Dang!! It was a great thread. The debates were amazing!

I was also gonna post on that thread regarding the jobs/careers that we have and it was gone! I really wanted to know what all of you do for a living.
