"Song with Middle Eastern feel"??

Rashid Al-Majid is one of the most famous and successful singers in the Arab world he is from Saudi Arabia. This particular song he is singing it in Iraqi, the dancing, lyrics and even the accent is all Iraqi.

This song is awesome Arabian Knight. The drum line in this is fantastic. Yeah it is Iraqi...but it is good. Music should bring people closer together. I for one am very sorry for the developments going on between the USA and Iraq. It's needless. I know I am opening up a totally new can of worms saying that, but I need to say it. It is WRONG for the USA to be there. And I don't blame you or anyone else from the Arabian/Middle Eastern world for hating us for it.

I just want to add...I think Arabian music is awesome. ALL of it. I didn't want to turn this into a political thread....sorry if I did...

LindaC781,

And it is also very wrong for the people who call themselves Muslims to create misconceptions and hatred; they manipulate to use religion for their own personal gain. I personally wish for harmony and peace amongst all of us.

Yes it is a very complicated issue, and it is unavoidable!

Thank you for caring

I DO care Arabian Knight...a little too much. I lose sleep thinking about children losing their lives in this "war"...and it saddens me to no end...Take care yourself! And give that ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE little son of yours a big hug for me!

God Bless you too Arabian Knight....I look forward to the day that all of us in this wonderful world we live in can get along...truly..and have everlasting peace..

it was posted on MJNO about half a year ago. Definitely not Michael, and neither did the original artist claim to be Michael in any way or form. Just a mix up (even though it beats me how this could have happened) somewhere in the depths of the internet.

Edit: ok, after reading the thread now I can see that my post looks a bit OT at this point. Sorry. I do concur with everything that was said in the last couple of posts wholeheartedly.

that's not a Middle-Eastern rhythm.. it's just a Western 4x4 house beat over a MEern melody.
