I figured as much. I find it hard to believe that we, Michael Jackson fans, have begun to believe everything we read. Not all of us, but certainly some of us.

To me, at this point, it looks like Michael's children are being very well protected and to think that they would now be allowed to participate in some reality program would make no sense. "Very well protected from the public" and "reality program" do not equal up, in my opinion.

I'm just glad the matter has been cleared up.

Like I said, I am not fond of Debbie, but she did make Michael cover up the kid's faces for many many years. She chose not to be there and have him raise them. Many women do that.

Either way the kids are screwed if this is in fact true. Maybe Diana Ross can step in.

Michael Jackson's three children will appear in an upcoming A&E reality series about Jackson's brothers, even though Jackson's sister Rebbie, who reportedly has been the primary caregiver for Prince, Paris and Blanket, feels her late brother would "spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on this show," a source tells Us Weekly.

The series has been in the works since well before Jackson's death in June, and was originally going to focus on the Jackson brothers -- Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy -- as they recorded a new album and prepped for a tour. But there wasn't much interest in the project until after Michael died. Funny that.

The new series will also follow the family as it grapples with Jackson's death, including footage of the three children whom Michael fiercely protected from the prying cameras during his lifetime. Rebbie has refused to be in the series, and mom Katherine, the legal guardian of the three kids "is just going along with things," according to the source.

Executive producer Jodi Gomes tells Us Weekly that the family will come off well in "The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty," set to air in December. "They've done a great job opening up about losing a brother." Well, presumably they're getting paid handsomely to do so, so spare us the high praise.

I would take the word of HLN and E! Online over Us Weekly and any other tabloid program any day. E! at least TRIES to get confirmation first, unlike US Weekly which is nothing more than an over priced tabloid who are always citing "sources". That seems to be their favorite word of choice.

So, again just as HLN reported a short time ago, his kids WILL NOT be appearing on the reality program.

According to ET and Access Hollywood, the show is on it's way to being cancelled due to low ratings of the last few episodes. That's was what I was referring to, not Jon's childish 'wah wah wah' behavior + putting that sign on the front gate + me want more money

I think both parents are greedy to the bone. Those beautiful kids are better off with Kate's relatives.

Michael Jackson's children Paris, Prince and "Blanket" will not be part of an A&E reality show, the network says.

US Weekly magazine quoted an unidentified source as saying -- despite a sharp division in the Jackson family over the matter -- that Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7, would be included in the show.

"The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty," which focuses on the lives of Michael Jackson's brothers, was in the works before the singer's June 25 death.

Jackson went to great lengths for years to keep his children out of the public eye, including covering their faces with masks and scarves.

It was only at the public memorial service for Jackson that the world got a close look at them and began learning about their personalities.

The magazine's source is quoted as saying that the oldest Jackson sister, Rebbie Jackson, "feels Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on this show."

The public relations firm hired by the Jackson family soon after Michael Jackson's death issued a short statement Wednesday morning that did not dispute the US Weekly report.
"We are not going to comment," the statement said.

The A&E network's statement, however, seems to rule out their appearance. "They are not part of the series," the network said.

US Weekly told CNN it stands by its report.

The lawyer appointed in August to represent the children in the probate of their father's will has not returned a CNN call for comment.

US Weekly can kiss my ass as far as I'm concerned, and I would take CNN's word and reporting over US Weekly's "Oh I heard it from his tenth cousin twice removed neighbor's sister's brother's former boss' ex-girlfriend's new boy friend's ex-best friend so it has to be true" "reporting".

As much as CNN irritates me at times (ESPECIALLY in regards to Michael, they HAVE reported trash before), their reporting still holds more weight than US Weekly.

I never believed the tabloid reports about this anyway. They were quoting Rebbie who never talks to the press. The tabloids have nothing better to do than trick gullible readers. Most people would remember that Katherine stipulated that the kids could not be shown in the This Is It Movie.

This whole story was ridiculous from the beginning and never had any credibility out of the gate because it came from the trashy tabloids. I am so tired of these rag papers who have nothing better to do but create drama about the Jackson. That's why I don't read them unless they wind up posted here. They are so full of malarky.

Agree with most of your post except that yes, we the fans & stans, are the reason why MJ and his kids are billionaires.

So if they are not going to do things the way MJ would've wanted them to, then yes, we have the right to protest because ultimately, we are the ones who buy anything/everything MJ did & support them through the good, bad and ugly.

I agree that some folks, not all ,are very gullible when it comes to tabloid journalism. That's how the tabloids make their money. They start a rumor with "sources" and phony "quotes" and sit back and watch the gossip catch fire as people start clicking their links and jumping to conclusions without analyzing what is said or just ignoring these parasites. I am glad that Katherine ran this story to ground but I think for most of us it didn't believe it in the first place.
