I don't want to offend the collectors (they paid for it after all) but it's such a shame that they could buy something really rare and probably the Michael Estate itself might not have it

The estate has everything you could possibly need. You can't imagine how many demos, mixes, and masters there are. The collectors are the ones with the copies.

He was tasked with going through the 2track & multitrack tapes. this was around 2011 iirc.

Responsible for the vault is Branca's paralegal (her name escapes me atm) edit: Karen Langford it is

Maybe a crazy question after 487 pages of this thread but why exactly is it such a mystery what's in the vault? Is it a secret for business purposes? Do they want to be mysterious? Are other estates also this vague about what they have..?

The Estate is very vague about the material they have and it's interesting they would be, especially with Michael being the biggest star in the world.

Feel free to share as much as you can dude. I appreciate every info I can get. Im especially interested in MJs later work (post Invincible).

Do you know if the Estate has releasable (full proper vocals) songs from that time period?

I know of a couple of demos that Michael Prince and Brad Buxer reworked after Michael’s passing. There are also more songs from the post-Invincible era, but I don’t know much about them. Rest assured, though, the estate has a copy of everything.

Ok thanks for the reply. Lets hope there is something useable out there and we will hear it soon. Its been way too long since the last proper release (Xscape)
