April fools was a week agoimagine loren songs like satisfy you redone with Jafaar on lead.
I'd rather notimagine loren songs like satisfy you redone with Jafaar on lead.
There's a potential, though I don't think people are so open to the idea 'til we hear what he sounds like as MJ.I want to rephrase what i meant, songs with MJ only on elements like gloucester/satisfy you/call it off featuring Jafaar instead of Bryan/some random celebrity.
I missed all of you tooI literally just said I missed this thread lol.
Yeah, I'm still not gonna put that thought out into the world.I want to rephrase what i meant, songs with MJ only on elements like gloucester/satisfy you/call it off featuring Jafaar instead of Bryan/some random celebrity.
Definitely releasing the last version MJ worked on. I don't mind remix projects if they are marketed as such, but releasing other people's work and presenting it as MJ songs is something I'm not that interested in. The demos on Xscape were also horrid when it comes to sound quality and some of them were the most primitive versions with later and better versions existing but not included for whatever reason.Which do you guys prefer? Unreleased demos being put out or having someone finish the song?
I prefer the demo because even if it isn't exactly how MJ would have completed it, it's the closest thing we have to his vision for the song. I don't like other people interpreting his work.
I thought Xscape was a good idea giving people both options, though.
I agree. Let us hear the demos. The estate is so stingey with new musicDefinitely releasing the last version MJ worked on. If we need to have people finish the songs, then it should at the very least be the people who originally worked on them with him. I am not a big fan of the Xscape remix for example, but that was Rodney's song and he did what he wanted to do with it when he remixed it for the album.
Of course this is unfortunately becoming less and less likely of a possibility of being a reality. Just release the demos then, I'd prefer that, anyway.
Is Neff-U not a collaborator who was helping produce MJ's last songs?I agree. Let us hear the demos. The estate is so stingey with new music
The only 2 songs from the Michael album that I'll listen to are Hold My Hand and I Can't Make It Another Day because the collaborators finished the songs. The rest I skip. I don't need to hear Neff-U's take on an MJ demo.
Sorry, I should have been more clear when I was talking about Akon and Lenny Kravitz. Is Neff-U not a collaborator who was helping produce MJ's last songs?
I believe there was footage of a wrap-up party related for "Monkey Business" in the leaks, so I believe that it was completed. Can anyone tell me if "Monkey Business" was finished or was it still being worked on? I was blasting it in my car today & had to wonder![]()
Apparently a finished mix exists out there somewhere but the released version was a rough mixCan anyone tell me if "Monkey Business" was finished or was it still being worked on? I was blasting it in my car today & had to wonder![]()
That's what I thought. But why would they release a rough mix vs the final product. Smh the whole ultimate collection is starting to become a mystery in its own rightApparently a finished mix exists out there somewhere but the released version was a rough mix
There's nothing on here too valuable except for 7 Digits and Don't Believe It imo
Seriously? Should be like $1,000 USD.40,000 LOL
or all the tracksSomeone should leak one those tracks just to mess with the price.
I am in possession of She Got It and Work that body. Watch me ruin their whole daySomeone should leak one those tracks just to mess with the price.
Bill Bottrell should know. Has he been asked about this?I wonder if Monkey Business was that close to making the album that the lyrics for it were being typed up, or that Brad was doing this with all the songs that were completed and considered
