Bit of a lurker on here, but I've been catching up on this thread after not being on for some time, so I'm a little late. Anyways, I'm very interested and would love to hear these mixes if you're able to find them and share! ❤The Off The Wall sessions are such low-hanging fruit for the Estate. They could put together a very decent boxset of just those ten songs with the basic trackings, uncut mixes, extended versions and alternate takes.
I did a full remix of the album (excluding ICHI album version) for my podcast some years ago and made mixdowns with this concept in mind. I just can't find the mastered versions in my archive at the moment.

I keep thinking of Backstreet's Back when I hear this snippet, even though it's barely similar.
That's not familiar to me. Really good though. Somebody will remember 20 choir members showing up somewhere and recording this.
I also believe Buffalo Bill was originally worked on at Soundcastle with John Barnes.Seems like the "Pepsi Generation" mix of Billie Jean was done over at Soundcastle. I sometimes wondered when he did that version: now I know...where, at least.
Hayvenhurst era was his most productive era music wiseIt still blows my mind how productive and prolific Mike was during the Victory/Bad era. Not only was he writing and producing full quality demos but he was singing them full out too.
He really had a point to prove
For sure...do you realize how much of the Unreleased Bad material were made in Hayvenhurst?Hayvenhurst era was his most productive era music wise
Early Victory era we know little about. Abortion Papers recorded at Can Am with Brian Malouf was completely unknown to the "B-Team" staff; only God knows what else was recorded (with full vocals), shelved and never revisited again. It still blows my mind how productive and prolific Mike was during the Victory/Bad era. Fly Girl on his own 2007 album is the main beat he played during that studio interview.A question about the Wil I Am- tracks: I always liked the stuff we hear playing during the studio interview. Now iirc Will I Am used some beats for other artists later on..? A female singer..? Does anyone recall more..?
The supposedly "Still The King" beat was used by another artist yes. I don't recall the name of the song but it exists.A question about the Wil I Am- tracks: I always liked the stuff we hear playing during the studio interview. You have to remember. The supposedly "Still The King" beat was used by another artist yes. I don't recall the name of the song but it exists.
(I personally believe the beat was actually "The Future" song. It has this modern Latin tempo that was described)
Dozens…hundreds. How many vocal takes do we expect there to be for Invincible tracks actually? How many for the title track let's say? When was it recorded by the way?
This is just stunning. I could hear this being on a HIStory Vol 2.

I would love to hear the most complete version for this song. I know it’s not finished but it has that MJ touch in that small sample. You can feel the soul of the song in his voice. Love itThis is just stunning. I could hear this being on a HIStory Vol 2.
noAnyone else also hate Changes?
Why do you hate it?Anyone else also hate Changes?
It's one of the better snippets we have of an unreleased song.Anyone else also hate Changes?
I don’t hate it, don’t love it. It doesn’t really do much for me personally. I’d still love to hear the full thing.Anyone else also hate Changes?
