The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

I'm simply amazed by "Boy No". This will be the usual "totally unlike what I expected" commentary but I imagined the song being like a mix of "Little Susie" with "Hollywood Tonight", but instead it's "Days In Gloucestershire" meets "Human Nature". And while you wouldn't call neither of those songs "dark", this song in particular still manages to have a subtle, and yet somber undertone to it. If it's ever released or leaked entirely it'll be on my replay without a shadow of a doubt.
It sounds pretty much how I expected, days in Gloucestershire meets human nature is a perfect description of the sound. @AlwaysThere info was right when they said it resembles those tracks. It’s more complete than I expected, I really hope it leaks in full.

Posting here since a long time. Got very excited by the recent developments. Is the full song leaked already?

Not me replaying Boy No for the 87 time today!! I love it

Boy No, they ain't got a place for me to stay 🎶

Happy birthday Mike

Does anyone have any info on "Fantasy"? It doesn't seem to be on the tracker
it's a song MJ mentioned during the deposition in 1993
he said it's written by him and someone from the Jacksons but he said he couldn't remember

BOY NOOOOOOOO

(The only snippet that's been stuck in my head, I've been humming it since this morning...) It's incredible how Mike always flips my expectations, I thought it would sound a lot darker lol.

I'm not one to publish much in this forum, and occasionally I usually read this thread because I find the information that arises from the unpublished songs interesting, but I dare to say that over time it has become one of the worst threads, without pointing to a specific person, it has become childish and silly fights, and I find it depressing that the legacy and work of whoever is probably the greatest artist who has been born (by the way, who was born on a day like today 😉) is overshadowed by people who probably do not measure the value of what they have or what they hear, again I clarify that I do not point out one or a certain group of individuals, I only comment that as fanatics we should be less aggressive and at the same time not settle or much less fight for crumbs, it is more productive that a special day like today is commemorated celebrating the life and exceptional work of Michael, I hope you are having a very nice day 😊

It’s the issue of people feeling ownership over work that isn’t theirs, and the infighting that comes with that ego. going forth discussion of how X Y and Z leaks will not be in this thread, meaning we can focus specifically on the music.

its all corrupt Branca's fault. He is such a mess... the only good thing the Estate does is fighting in court for Michael. Anything else is embarassing and sad.... and if they only wanted they could release all those songs and make money with it. instead they leave it in the hands of collectors who instead get the money by selling it over years and years (hey Shana) to other people until it slowly but surely finds its way to the internet as crappy snippets.

Right. The last time i checked, they had no hand in the creation of the music, nor were they even present when the songs were made. It's really no different than owning a CD. Only difference is the tracks are unreleased

Yeah I'm surprised about it too my friend, I thought it would be darker as well.

I felt the same with Innocent Man, I'm really happy with both snippets. I love not being able to predict Michael as a songwriter, really nice surprise

I’ll say, “Thank Heaven” does not sound like something I’d enjoy. Damien was right when he described it like a children’s lullaby lmao. I’d still love to hear the whole thing, but it’s a little too saccharine for me. Very surprising that MJ still had it on his radar when he died.

Unless Michael left branca instructions... but thats highly unlikely

Bringing some attention to "I Love You More" I gotta say it's nice to be able to get an idea of how Eric Kirkland's vocals sound like in his demos, it's been described that his voice sounds similar to Michael's in "Shut Up And Dance" so I was keen on hearing that. And listening to this demo, by extension, it gives us an idea of how his vocals sound there as well.

It's also cool to finally learn the title of that snippet Korgnex posted a while back, it sounded like the most modern out of the others he had posted. I remember thinking it didn't sound like an MJ song in the slighest, and as it turns out it's because it isn't lol.

Do we know when Boy No was recorded? 2008?
Because Michael sounds like his voice hasn't aged a day since Dangerous

Hearing these snippets today reminded me how much I've missed that man's voice
Sadly no, but I thought the same! Damien said he wasn’t able to pin down the recording date, but vocally I’d be surprised if it was any older than the Invincible sessions.
