I wonder why there are presales? Here in Germany you can go to a movie theater / cinema spontaneously and buy a ticket no problem. Or maybe it has changed, I haven´t been to the cinema in ages ...

Well just once I'd like to randomly see an ad without having to look it up myself with the search bar. Promo that reaches us instead of us having to deliberately look for it. They need to reach the people who don't know about the biopic, not just the die-hard fans who already know about it.

If you live in Germany, you might be seeing more promotion than us because that's where the premiere will be.

I dont think this is unreasonable. I don't think I've seen any mention in the real world outside of cinema trailers and when the first rrailer was released. It made all the main news programs here in Ireland which I thought was crazy but the momentum just went off a cliff.

There will be more in the movie. One of which I don't think people will be expecting. Never been broadly used, but most here have heard it...






Side note * Anyone here going to be at the Berlin Premiere?

On the release day in big cities too? Here you need to buy a ticket some time before if you want the best seats. Depends on the movie of course.

So, I have heard from an 'insider' that there is a good chance that several songs were recently cut from the film. Are you aware of this? (And if not are you at all able to find out whether this is indeed true?)

Yeah, depends on the movie and city. Most of the time it's better to buy tickets online some days earlier. Smaller cities and/or not so popular movies, you can buy the tickets directly at the cinema, right before watching the movie.

I haven't heard this.. Minus obvious songs that that wont be in it due to where the movie ends now. vs. when the timeline post Bad era.

But with a recent decision, post the original teaser, at least one song is gone and is being saved.

Hold on, Meryl streep Ann hathaway Emily blunt, its a stella cast the first one was huge, they are totally different, Michael is a bio,i loved the first DWP people love things in different ways , and i will love Michael and am excited to see it , going to the cinema is great, money plays a big part its expensive , the promo for DWP 2 will be pushed due its popularity . For me my money will be to see Michael for me money is tight

Yes this is most likely what my contact has been referring to. He seems to think Hot Street, Rock With You, Heartbreak Hotel and Shake Your Body have all recently been cut from the film. Hence why they aren't on the soundtrack. Makes sense.

Does that mean no Dancing Machine, no Shake Your Body, no Rock With You and no Heartbreak Hotel in the film? In the first teaser we see what looks like MITM white shirt 89 (we assume is not in the film) and Victory Tour Mike triggering a pyrotechnic like Heartbreak Hotel, is that not in the film as well?

If Shake Your Body isn't in the film, what song does the biopic end on?

The merch will be available at more theaters than the ones listed those are only the confirmed locations right now.
It starts hitting theaters on April 22 for the early screening, then April 24 for the nationwide release.
