Hi guys,

Today would have been the day I *finally* got to see Michael perform. I saw him at the World Music Awards, which I relish, but of course this would have been way diferent. It's strange now how things change, what was meant to be the best day of my life has been one of the most miserable. I'm still so shocked by everything and when I look at the ticket confirmation I'm like why aren't I seeing Michael today! I keep thinking like, o doors would open now so we'd be going in, I wonder what his first song would be etc. It's still so surreal.

I just wonder what everyone here has felt on the day they were meant to see Mike.

On a brighter note, I watched some of my favourite footage of Michael performing (which I geekily save for my favourite occasions) so I could at least imagine in some sense for a second I was there and it was happening tonight... and it did help.

I also think people who got to see Micheal at Madison Square Gardens 2001 are the luckiest people ever!

Aww i'm so sorry. To know you were gonna actually see him and then the worse thing possible happens! Life is really unfair sometimes.
 
Thanks so much to those who posted in this thread. I guess we're all feeling the same and going through the same thing. It makes me feel atleast we all have each other, and when your dates arrive, post and we can be there for each other then too :flowers:

My day was one day before his birthday.
 
I was going this month as well 21 blk 404 it would of been my second time bad tour 88 i saw him

That was my cousin's day too and I remember thinking I wonder if Michael will get a surprise or something/it'll prob be a cool show.

Evenn though I wasn't going on that day myself I did feel it such a shame as I would have been first on the phone to my cousin to be like omg how was it!
