Hey guys,

Yes, I know it's only been three months, but what are your top 5 favorite albums from this year (so far)?

Here are mine:

1. Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid
2. REM - Accelerate
3. Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts I-IV
4. Van Der Graaf Generator - Trisector
5. Brian Vander Ark - Brian Vander Ark

Honorable mentions:
Janet Jackson - Discipline
The Mars Volta - The Bedlam In Goliath
Ringo Starr - Liverpool 8
Lenny Kravitz - It Is Time For A Love Revolution

I mostly buy old records. In a lot of cases I've never heard them B4 so they're "new" to me. The only things I've bought that were actually released this year are:

Janet Jackson ~ Discipline
Swing Out Sister ~ Beautiful Mess
Lizz Wright ~ The Orchard
 
From this year?
Wow... I am gonna have to say NONE.

The last albums that I REALLY liked were

Evanescence - The Open Door
Mika - Life In Cartoon Motion
The Fray - How To Save A Life
Jennifer Lopez - Brave
Roisin Murphy - Overpowered

Well I already mentioned these albums elsewhere in the threads...

But still, music IS NOT what it used to be... :(

Frank McComb (not new but new to me)
 
I only bought Thriller 25 that is worth mentioning for me!
That's actually the only album I bought so far in 2008, exept for Janet's Discipline, but I don't like it very much.
