Hello,

to cut the matter short: There's currently much hatred towards the Cascio's, Sony Music, The Michael Jackson Estate, the producers and other participating people.
Fans are conducting some kind of war - against themselves. I had to face that on Twitter, Facebook, on the forums, virtually everywhere, only accusations are being made by those that believe the Cascio songs to be fake and that Jason Malachi shall be the singer towards all fans that have a different opinion.

Due to the fact I'm also best-known on the forums for many years now and I'm known as well for not believing into a conspiracy, I became the target of these attacks, too.

Yesterday, for the first time ever I was heavily publicly attacked by a user on this forum (MJJC).
Even some reference to the "KGB" was made and a mysterious line "She fed you a lie" was posted. I understand nothing at all of this. [A few incorrect(!) lyrics from "Black Widow", (but where's the context and why mention the KGB???)]
Apparently since yesterday there's also a Twitter account named "RIAAAnti-Piracy" that claims to be by the RIAA. Here, too, I was made aware by a member on this forum that my name was being thrown in on various Twitter accounts and that I'm being accused of being the alleged owner of this account.

The remaining Cascio songs will most likely be leaked soon by people that don't care about the future and the law, so you can enjoy them.
However they will only be leaked in order to further proclaim their frustration and anger towards Jason Malachi and to limit the forums on one topic only once and for all.
The beginning of the end in my book.

I run out of steam because of this garbage. From now on I will post not any more for an extended period of time and only read occasionally.
For me there goes the Michael Jackson forums, the crazy fanatics can stuff it.

Take care,
I'll be staying here but as of now I'm inactive only.

sorry to hear this. this kind of behavior towards you is absolute garbage. you've always been helpful and contributed lots to this forum, as well as many others ;)

I personally don't like the Casio tracks and even if they are sung Michael Jackson, Sony/The Estate should've never released them. Look at what they've did.

Now, since I don't really believe it's Michael singing the songs, I don't care what they do with the Cascio tracks. Even if the tracks get leaked I probably won't waste my time listening to them since I have no interest in them.

BUT, if you're non-believer(like me) that doesn't mean that you have the right to start attacking and putting down the believers. We have different opinions and just because I don't agree with you that doesn't mean I have to make you agree with me and if you don't, attack you and put you down. Whoever attacked you should be ashamed of himself. From a Michael Jackson fan to another that is just WRONG. This whole Cascio situation has harmed the fanbase like nothing ever did and for that I accuse The Estate/Sony for putting the tracks out. I would've rather not get any unheard tracks than have the fanbase self destroy like this...

Feel free to disagree with everything I just said but that's just my opinion.

I'm sorry to hear what happened to you Alex, you didn't deserve this after everything you've done and contributed to MJJC and various other MJ fan forums. All I can say is, don't take any of those attacks personally since the people who were attacking you didn't put much though in their statements/attacks. I don't care who's right or wrong, who's singing the songs and all of that, fighting like this is just wrong.

Hope you'll be back.

No Korgnex don't leave! I've always enjoyed reading your posts. It will be a shame loosing your face in the community!

So sorry to hear you are not going to post anymore. I've been following the new album thread only because of your, Ivy's and some other peopls's posts trying to bring some sense into that discussion.

Sorry to hear about this.
As a fellow long time (and formerly well known LOL) member I understand how you feel. It seems like after Michael passed away a lot of people went coo-coo in the head, and as a result they attack anyone and everyone around them. Even fellow fans. Also, a lot of new fans joined the communities in a quest to learn more about why the world stood still when this amazing human being died. Unfortunately, with these new fans, a lot of crazy people, I'll even say EVIL people joined too. Rumors, lies, it's all being thrown at us.

It seems that without us realizing it, Michael was a calming factor amongst us. If it didn't come from Michael, it wasn't true was often our motto. Discussing many issues on this forum, we often figured out the truth by looking at the facts, trusting our hearts as Michael has taught us, and by eventually getting confirmation from Michael himself. I guess with that being gone, we are all a bit lost. We argue, we fight, we attack each other because we just aren't sure. It hurts me that for example the discussion about the songs is dividing us. I believe that if songs divide the fans, if they make the fans doubt the authenticity, then they shouldn't be on an album. Because I don't want to argue with friends about whether or not Michael's vocals are on a song. I've never doubted a Michael Jackson song in my life, and now there's just something not right. And that hurts. You know?

Anyway, this is not about the songs, this is about you. Again, sorry you feel the way you do and I'm sending you a hug.

Take care :)

Why are you letting them chase you away.? Charlie Sheen would say " they are WINNING.!!!!"
Fansite created to celebrate MJ is dominated with boiling hatred. Sad is it not.?

I am sorry to hear that. I never believed that those 3 songs could actually cause so much damage. Still....some hear Michael...some don"t.
I stayed away from threads like that on purpose. From now on, there will always be like that when a song comes out.:(
We , sadly, will have to deal with it.

Unlucky Alex, this Cascio bullsh*t has been taken too far.

...and again I had to curse, but it's bullsh*t, nearly in every forum on this board there's Cascio talk.

Alex, I am sorry you were attacked in that manner. That is just not acceptable. I hate all this nonsense with the Cascio tracks, I am a believer, but even if you don't we are all MJ fans and should not treat each other in that way.

Please, don't let those crack pots chase you away. You are a great addition and a very credible source of great information regarding Michael's music. I always like to read your posts. Don't let them win, please, come back soon!

There is no reason that people have to be so damn immature and irresponsible because of a dozen songs that clearly did not have any involvement from Michael Jackson. (strictly my opinion, nothing more)

If I were you I wouldn't leave. There is so much more to offer to the community rather than to take a step back because some individuals decide to hate for your beliefs and those of another's.

The bottom line: the power of suggestion works wonders, the Cascios and Sony demonstrated that.

Don't let them get you down Korgnex.

I wish Korgnex change his mind as well. I too have been at the receiving end of hate due to this topic both on this forum and on twitter as well. It's a sad time when people cannot respect difference of opinion and feel like their hate is justified just because you think differently.

okay... I understand your frustration but 'leaving' or 'not posting' will only mean YOU let them WIN... People like to "divide and conquer" and that's so sad as only H.A.T.E can be driven out by L.O.V.E ... Believe in yourself, Alex and take care...

Alex, really? I am always being attacked for my opinion but that doesn't stop me from still saying it.

Such a shame, as your an awesome dude. :(

So sorry to hear you are not going to post anymore. I've been following the new album thread only because of your, Ivy's and some other peopls's posts trying to bring some sense into that discussion.

Me too. I am sorry, but I can understand your reasons.

Alex, sorry you've been on the receiving end of things.

As much as I hate say that- Michael's fans are a pretty good representation of the general census- Michael's fan base is so large that a number of people choses to live whatever issue they have through Michael. They have issues beyond Michael Jackson and any convenient 'target' will do.

I have found my own writings on hoax blogs, found my own face on a hoax video with the arrow 'the wicked witch?' pointed to my face  was called a 'Sony plant' (what kind????) and had 'brave' anonymous folks write me psychotic messages.

It gives you but the tiniest taste of the anguish Michael must have felt at times.
Just the tiniest 'raised' profile means you have some form of hata coming sooner or later.

It stinks, but I'm sure you have enough people NOT treating you that way and who appreciate what you do for the fan community.

Hope things pick up for you. Don't let a few accusatory naysayers get you down, it can be so difficult to face hatred and vulgarity at times, without stooping down to that kind of level oneself.
Die Spreu trennt sich vom Weizen.

Korgnex,

You and I have exchanged posts previously. We usually don't agree with each other. But, I do enjoy having discussions with you. It's hard for me to know how you feel exactly. I don't have Twitter and I limit my Michael Jackson activities here. So, my obsession about Michael does not bleed into my Facebook account and my immediate circle. So, I don't' know what it's like to receive hated FB message or tweets.

I feel the title of this thread "War of Fans" is overly dramatic. Although the Michael album heavily divided fans, we still share one common passion - Michael Jackson. He's the reason we spend so much time here talking about everything about him. Sometimes, I found myself arguing with a fellow member on the queationable tracks, but agreeing with each other on other topics, such as Michael's past albums. At the end of the day, we are all fans of Michael Jackson. We all share something in common. We are all passionate bunch. There is still love in us for Michael and for each other.

The debate on the Cascio tracks will not diminish because an overwhelming number of people do not think they are genuine. Both sides have made some valid points. I'm sorry you feel attacked.

I always knew the Cascio situation would end up in some of the best users on here leaving, I hope you'll come back soon :)

I don't think anyone should take messageboard dramas too seriously, to the point they let a single debate ruin their whole forum experience. Because really, if some forum debate was enough to distress you, then I think it's time to turn off the computer and take a break.

I do wonder though, are these "crazy fanatics" intentionally stalking you and demanding that you hear their truth? Or did you join in these debates only to have recently become frustrated and have so, given up said-debate?

If the former, then I am sorry that you've been constantly followed and ridiculed by these "crazy fanatics". I would still insist that you do not let these internet dramas get to you too much. If others insist on acting like a pack of hyenas, then let them. You must be above that. Because ultimately, it speaks more about them than it does you.

If the latter, then I suggest leaving the debate and moving on to something more "productive" of your time. People will believe whatever they want to believe. So if you plan on debating, do expect these debates to be long-drawn and perhaps, fruitless in the end. Because like it or not, you're debating with another group of MJ fans, and MJ fans being as passionate as they are, do not give up issues so easily.

Well said!

The problem is, you shouldn't have to constantly be poised for a fight for simply having an opinion. It's sad, I wish some people would just stop with the hounding. Yes, it's only a message board, I understand that, but when it becomes unenjoyable that's a real shame.

i'm sort of new in the MJ fan community. not proud of it but i'm one of those after june 25th fans. but ever since i've been "active" supporter of MJ and always will be. this war between fans is not good for the legacy this incredible man left us. i'm not sure if i have the right to say this but i feel for his sake fans need to stand united.

Constructive criticism is fine, but attacking someone like Korg in a disrepectful way is just not called for. In fact Korg is one of the most helpful and nicest guys ive come across in the world of MJ forums. I don't believe those tracks are Michael, but its not worth causing a war over it. Nice to see people showing you some support Korg.
