Michael said it to Blanket in LWMJ and I think its sounds beautiful, ive heard it means love but i'm not sure.
 
really I knew Abbu ment father in Indian or punjabbi somthing like that but I just thought it was baby talk
 
wait, so why would he say "father" to blanket? I have also watched this scene many times and always wondered...
 
maybe he's trying to say that "father is here, stop crying.." ;) just a thought. ;)

it's baby talk :) my son said that too and i used to immitate him ...he also said thing like cookie and stuff like that when he was 3-4 months old
 
I think it was baby talk what he meant but it does mean something in another language :lol: like danceofzenab said :D!
 
Abbu it means father in arabic as well

lets say i have a son named " Ali "
people would call me " Abbu Ali " father of ali ....
 
I thought it was just baby talk also....hey who knows.....Michael knew what he ment.
 
Isn't Abu the monkey in Aladdin? I think he was teaching him character names from the film.
