What songs do you think could be on Dangerous 35?

Well,
  1. I don't think it will ever happen.
  2. I don't think it's necessary
  3. If it does, CD2 will probably just be a re-issue of Dangerous - The Remix Collection
I'd slightly improve the track list, as follows (see italics).

1 Black Or White (C&C House With Guitar Radio Mix)
2 Remember The Time (New Jack Jazz Mix)
3 Remember The Time (Acapella)
4 In The Closet (The Promise)
5 In The Closet (The Vow)
6 Who Is It (The Most Patient Mix)
7 Who Is It (IHS Mix)
8 Jam (Silky 7")
9 Jam (Roger's Jeep Mix)
10 Give In To Me (Vocal Version)

Maybe add Will You Be There (Instrumental) and Gone Too Soon (Instrumental). Then it would be quite a respectable second disc (ie good value), which treats fans with respect, and is also easy/cheap to produce (because everything was previously released). Using original B-sides is also in line with what lots of other artists do for an anniversary.

I agree 100%. Unfortunately, most of what would be included would likely be previously leaked songs, especially since there are so many Dangerous outtakes available on YT without an official release.

This is the dream release for me, very easy for them to do and pretty simple, but it would be so awesome
 
I think the album is so good, that I just want THE ALBUM. I'm not interested in any filler.

It's a shame that Black or White and Remember The Time were both mixed in Dolby Surround, and yet they were never released.

For me, for every MJ album, it's a case of no 5.1, no buy.

  • Scared of the Moon (will sound good next to Gone Too Soon and wide audience does not necessarily know this song...
  • Who Is It Pepsi aka Dreams (easy short filler)
  • MJ's demo of Centipede
  • People Of The World
  • More Quincy Jones interviews (bashing on MJ's first work without him).
  • Something unreleased from Invincible.

Options in my dreams
I am not sure if all these exists, but assuming they would exist:
  • Longer cut of I'll Be There Pepsi
  • Any other adult Motown cover
  • MJ's versions of Alright Now and Joy and possibly others.
  • Clean (and not destroyed in re-mastering) recording of You Were There (for whatever reason, I often associate it to Dangerous rather than to Bad.)
And of course, a MoFi release.

John Barnes said that “Alright Now” was made before “Make or Break” (that is, before 1985), so I don’t think it would qualify for a Dangerous reissue (though I’m desperate to hear it because I love that song).

UMG sought Durst’s approval to reissue Limp Bizkit’s 2000 album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water on vinyl last year, according to the lawsuit, and “repeatedly asked” him to get involved with an anniversary rerelease of Significant Other, another of its albums. To Durst, it seemed like a “money grab”.

So the question is, why are some MJ fans so keen to encourage these money-grab projects?

That's what's so good about rereleasing DTRC. If it's previously released or leaked, it means we don't have to buy it. Win-win.

On reflection, from my remix tracklist above, I'd remove In The Closet (The Promise) and Who Is It (IHS Mix) and replace them with a remix of Dangerous itself (eg from the Blood CD single).

Again, doing this treats fans with respect, and is also easy/cheap to produce, plus using original B-sides is also in line with standard industry practice for an anniversary.
