A cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" is among the many treats to be found on "****," Fall Out Boy's first live release. Due April 8 via Island, the project will be available as a CD/DVD or DVD only; the Jackson cover is a studio version featuring a "special guest guitarist" yet to be named.

"****" was taped in June 22, 2007, at Phoenix's Cricket Pavilion. Beyond the band's own hits ("Sugar, We're Going Down," "Thanks Fr The Mmrs," "This Ain't a Scene, It's An Arms Race"), a wide array of covers are included, such as Akon's "Don't Matter," Timbaland's "One and Only" and Panic At The Disco's "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies."

The DVD sports all eight Fall Out Boy music videos, a wealth of behind-the-scenes footage and a making-of segment for the "Me & You" video, which was filmed in Uganda.

"Before watching ourselves on film we never really realized how much we swear," bassist Pete Wentz wrote on the band's blog, by way of explaining the strange title for the upcoming release. "It's pretty gross ... though it's edited as to not hurt your little munchkin ears. And as for how to say the name, well any little four letter word will work."

Michael Jackson To Feature On New Fall Out Boy Album

You just cant 'beat it'...

A cover of Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’ will feature on Fall Out Boy’s forthcoming live album, it’s been revealed.
‘****’ was recorded at a concert in Phoenix last June and will include a studio version of Jackson’s song which also stars a special guest guitarist. The album, which is the band’s first LP, also features covers of songs by Timbaland and Akon.

A complete DVD of the concert will accompany the CD release and will come with special behind-the-scenes footage of the band. ‘****’ will be released in America on April 8th.

Michael Jackson faces forced sale of Neverland

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Michael Jackson's famed Neverland Valley Ranch in California will be foreclosed and sold on March 19 unless the pop star pays a balance of nearly $25 million, property records showed on Tuesday.
FoxNews.com celebrity columnist Roger Friedman reported on the Web site (www.foxnews.com) that Jackson has been formally apprised of the foreclosure and that legal documents have also been filed with the Santa Barbara County Recorder's office.
"You are in default of a deed of trust ...," Jackson was told in the five-page filing, according to a copy of the document published by FoxNews.com. "Unless you take action to protect your property it may be sold at a public sale."
According to the documents, if Jackson fails to pay the outstanding balance, estimated at $24.5 million, Neverland would be sold to the highest bidder at a public auction on the courthouse steps.
The county recorder's Web site shows that a Notice of Trustees Sale was filed against Neverland Valley Ranch on Monday but no further details were available and a spokeswoman for the office declined to comment.
Jackson's publicist, Raymone Bain, did not return calls seeking comment on the foreclosure notice.
The onetime "King of Pop" has owned the 2,800-acre (1,133-ha) ranch in the rolling foothills above the California coast since 1988, naming it after the whimsical island where children never grow up in J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan stories.
Jackson, 49, famously outfitted the property with a private zoo and amusement park and festooned it with statues of Peter Pan characters. Continued...

But the reclusive, Grammy-winning singer has spent little time at Neverland since his June, 2005 acquittal on charges that he sexually molested a young boy there after plying him with alcohol.
In 2006 state authorities ordered the property shuttered and fined Jackson for failing to pay his employees or maintain proper insurance, and the zoo animals have since reportedly been removed.
Jackson, who proclaimed himself "King of Pop" in the 1980s and scored one of the top-selling pop albums of all time in "Thriller," has since seen his fame as an entertainer eclipsed by the sometimes bizarre details of his personal life.

Yet they never hesitate to call another entertainer who's been dead for 3 decades the 'king of rock and roll' and never put 'onetime' or anything else in front of his title and once MJ didn't proclaim himself to be anything.
 
Reuters copying RF. The media is totally losing it.

well she should respond with the truth. The documents are real. They aren't just from RF, they are real documents at the santa barbara courthouse. It's public record, so Raymone should expect phone calls

Thanks for the news guys. This Neverland foreclosure bit is all over the media. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens when March 18 gets here. Personally if Michael wants to end that era of his life by getting rid of Neverland I say go for it Michael, especially after the raid on the ranch. But not like this. Not with the property going into to foreclosure or being auctioned off.

yes, i heard this earlier today and have been waiting for MJJC to mention this for discussion.
I was so disturbed when i saw it on the faux news channel.:(

I want whatever Michael wants that is if he has decided to let Neverland go... I do hope it can be saved. sometimes it is best to let something go when it is too stressful to keep.

Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch will be put up for sale at a public auction next month unless the pop star pays the more than US$24 million he still owes on the property, according to a Tuesday court filing.​

Financial Title Co. filed the notice of trustee's sale with Santa Barbara County Superior Court, setting the auction date for March 19. A spokeswoman for Jackson did not immediately return a call for comment.​

Julie Wagner, a manager at the San Francisco-based title company, confirmed that Jackson's property was set for auction.​

Court documents obtained by Fox News warn Jackson that he has until the date of the auction to take action to keep his lavish estate.​

If the property does go to auction, the initial asking price could be higher than the US$24.5 million Jackson owes because of interest due and other costs, according to the filing. Everything from the estate's merry-go-round and other carnival rides, locomotives, sculptures to the curtains and bath tubs in the estate would be up for sale should the auction take place, according to the filing.​

The reclusive star no longer lives at the famous, 2,500-acre spread in Los Olivos, a popular tourist spot northwest of Santa Barbara known for its wineries.​

He's been mostly residing abroad since his 2005 acquittal on child molestation charges, although he has spent time in Las Vegas as he tries to stage his musical comeback.​

FOx news will give more coverage to this than they will T25. They are so quick to jump on anything negative about Michael, but took their time to report anything on T25.
 
i don't know why people don't believe this.
it's all over the news with legitimate documents. it's unfortunate though.
It seems like EVERY single time Michael is going to release something there just has to be some kind of scandal plaguing him right behind him.

This has been discussed in all if not most MJ forums, repeatedly..it's no accident, but a planned, intentional, policitally motivated attack. Keep in mind, this is an election year, the Republican's need a 'trophy case' to bolster their platform. However with the Lord's help, this time I pray they have bitten off more than they are ready to chew;)

It's not about believing. It's about making a big deal about it before we should. If we make this a big deal, SURELY the media will.

Until another owner is announced for Neverland....and calls it "Joe's" or something, I'm not gonna bud my head in it, and even IF it's called "Joe's" I'm not gonna be sad about it and act like it's a tragedy cuz it's not. Maybe a few months ago I would've thought it would be but now, as long as MJ is happy, healthy, safe with his children, and doing what he wants (if that means letting the property go so be it)....then there's no need for me to be sad.

I expected something like this. Michael can't release something or be happy for too long without having some type of drama coming right on his heels at some point. I know this is really none of my business. But as a fan, I have to admit that the Neverland situation scares me a little. I hope Michael can find a solution to this soon. Nevertheless I'm with him all the way. No matter what.

well, maybe this should've been handled before he started working on his album

because she's clueless and doesn't know what to say after she said in November 2007 that "Michael is not losing Neverland". Michael needs some new advisors;)
 
I believe Raymone then, and I would be her now if she said that Michael will not loose Neverland.

Why should I believe this when it has just been reported and we haven't even given Michael a chance to rectify the situation? For all we know, he may have already taken care of it.

Remember, the media said that the government closed down Neverland due to Michael not paying wc for his employees. Then the next thing you know, Michael took care of everything.

I find it funny that everytime the media reports doomsday on Michael, he comes in and takes care of it right afterwards! Right afterwards! Which tells me that the a lot of these offices as well as the media jump the gun on Michael just so that they can report something negative on him.

that may be so, but she is not an advisor. she is a spokesperson, a messenger. you're barking up the wrong tree.
