Those artists whom you've mentioned are of older generation so I can understand why they don't sign for fans anymore. Because to me, when you've been in the industry for so long and you are in semi-retire state, it's got to be a point in your life when you don't want to be bothered by it.

Beyonce, on the other hand, is at her career peak now. Somehow, she has just begun her big career. She is the 'in' and 'hot' artist.
I see signing autograph as a small part of her job. same goes to the rest of the 'in' pop stars like Rihanna, Chris brown, BS, lady gaga etc.
 
um to those defending her ass....apparently solange laughed at the idea of jan going at bey...saying her sister isn't scared of jan and she was just telling the truth.

sorry but solange, aka the chicken head from sesame street, has done enuf piggybacking for the sister who doesn't like her ass....in her damn hair colour commercials and all...poor thing. not too good looking and not a lot of talent....but at least she ain't ghetto like them damn jacksons

solange need to sit down and stfu. her album was good i thought it was awesome when i 1st heard it but after listening to it it gets old. shes a FAILURE and needs to focus on being a mom and not ride her sisters coat-tails

She needs to be slapped, seriously. She needs to worry about why no one bought her so called CD. And I was about to buy that trash as well. Man, some of these young artists are truly tradgic.
 
I really never cared for Beyonce. I think she is very overrated, and really not much of a talent. And she has to rip others songs off and claim they are her own? She is just not my cup of tea...never was.
 
Y'all don't know how close to home this is, my sister done named her daughter after B. I was like why the hell you do that :/ it must have been temporary insanity or post partum depression.
 
Beyonce's intentions were good, cause its obvious that jJoe used Michael (he did suffered cause of this), but she saying the upper class part, well thats stupid to me at least

Maybe Beyonce should have said the statement in a different way, but I have to acknowledge that in the movie " An American Dream", Joe Jackson did come off as using his kids. And remember folks that movie was produced by Jermaine Jackson. That movie was sanctioned pretty much by the entire Jackson family. So I guess I have to defend Beyonce on that point. Maybe it's a generation thing, she is only going by was has been put out by the Jackson family. And even thought Michael and his brothers love to perform, they did complain about there father and not having a childhood. But I do believe Janet should make Beyonce clean up how she said it.
 
joe using his children? if he did that, then they'd all be broke an dhe'd be long gone since he was their manager. he utilized their talents, gave everone an opportunity, and guess what, they still did it when they got older so he didn't force them into shit.

beyonce is just running her damn mouth.

childhood my ass...that wasn't joe's fault...y not fault berry gordy who KNEW the damn recording studio was right in front of a park? why not fault every other adult in charge of the motown machine that allowed these kids to get lost in the shuffle? joe was a pawn as well as his kids. they were merchandise and when they rebelled they were let go and went to cbs.
