This is what I would expect myself to do. Yet, more than anything I'd want to strike-up a conversation, one in which he would relate to.


Damn....I would have given anything to have met and known him....I guess not all dreams do come true after all eh? *sighs*
 
So all of my posts on this thread so far has been aimed at humor.... but i do want to post a more meaningful reaction....

As the elevator door opens and MJ walks in... I would give a nod.... take a deep breath... and stand next to him... i would then tap him to get his attention.
When I do have his attention... and we are face to face looking at each other.......
I would say the following...

Michael, .....I have loved you for as long as I can remember.
..... I have respected you for the enormously talented entertainer you have been
..... I have admired the message of your songs, your words, and your life
..... All these years, I have joined with you from a distance in your joys, sorrows, trials, and tribulations..
...... AND I AM SORRY.... I AM SORRY FOR THE LIES..... YOU ARE CHERISHED..... YOU ARE ADMIRED.... AND YOU ARE LOVED by the millions of MICHAELMANIACS around the world.....
We believe in you. We always have. We always will.
I would then ask for his hands..... and offer a simple prayer.

ok- since everyone is being shy...... i would have to say........

the elevator door opens... i look up.. and its M I C H A E L J J A C K S O N ....... I would pee in my pants. HAHHAHHAHAH
 
I would bat my eye lashes and say 'hi Michael...' and then ask for an autograph and then give him my number! XD
 
I'd freak out!! But I'd try and say hi and tell him how much I love him.
 
Omg if I saw Mike in an elevator?? I would like to say that I would be composed and talk about his impact on my life, his incredible talent and music, his amazing heart, his compassion, his strength through all the B.S. and vitriol thrown at this face. But..........................

Let’s get real folks, I would probably act like a fool.! I would start having heart palpitations, couldn’t catch my breath, start convulsing, start hyperventilating, my head would twitch, I would cry forcing him to hold me, I might have a seizure lol. Then I would tell him I love him and I think we are soul mates haha. I would ask for a hug and then a kiss and perhaps that would lead us to make out ??? That would force me to sing lines from In the Closet : “one thing in life you must understand, the truth of lust woman to man” haha.

Then I would press the stop button while hugging him without his knowledge. Then we would talk about everything then he would invite me back to his hotel room to watch old movies and order some KFC while we cuddle!

I think I would nod and smile.

Although inside I would be going crazy. I'd want to say so many things but not want to come across as crazy lol
 
I would gasp and then run in and stand there frozen I'm sure. I wouldn't know what to say! I get nervous in situations :( I'd probably say hi and tell him I love him and his music. Gosh, the thought alone makes me nervous!
 
I think he'd appreciate being talked to like any other person you'd meet in an elevator.

As much as I would be dying inside to ask for a hug and tell him how much I admire him, I would try to show some restraint and ask him how his day is going, or tell him I like his jacket (because inevitably he'd be wearing a badass jacket).

I will say I'd hope that we'd both be going up 100 floors though, and not just one!

Honestly, just to be able to speak with him on a normal human level would be so special.


Knowing me though, I'd probably throw in an awkward "oh by the way, you are the best thing ever to happen to music OKAY BYE HAVE A GREAT DAY" at the end.
 
I wouldn't be able to speak at all! And it's better to shut my mouth before saying something silly. :lol:

'Nod a polite hello' would be most likely for me.

yeah...I probably would do the same...after all a girl knows how to be a girl...no matter who the guy is...:yes:...after all Michael was only human...jeez....:lmao:

A friend of mine met him at a roadstop or what you call it, like a small place by a road where you can buy hot dogs and stuff..not in the city..and in Sweden, when he was on tour. I think I made him tell that story a 100 times this summer... :)

it was in '96-97 so he was about 12 years old I guess...So I guess his reaction wasn't like it would have been if you were older, he reacted like a kid who was a fan.. he said he talked to him...he said he was so nice, so humble and down to earth..and that he saw that he really did have the skin disease Vitiligo!
Michael was going into his bus, and he invited him to go inside to, and have a look...so he sat inside the bus and talked to him... He really pointed out that he was very humble and friendly.. not acting like a spoiled rich celebrity or any of that. But just very sweet and humble, and that he really "reacted" on that when it came to him...to see that he was really as nice and humble that he had thought. :)
