This for example has annoyed me!!! It is obvious what is going to be said about the new members and i think thats unfair and not very welcoming at all!!! Just because i have not been hear forever does not mean i am not a longtime fan! :scratch:

"anything about bringing Adore back"
I guess that means it cant be things like 'Bring back Adore' but things like 'Miss you Adore' would be fine.

I never thought you had to join this forum from the beginning to prove you are a true MJ fan. What makes this forum the epitome of MJ fandom? Some of us just discovered this after his death, that isn't our fault. I've never heard about this site before June 25th. Someone happened to post something about MJJC on youtube and I happened to check it out. I just read as a guest for the next couple of days, then I joined in July.

Everyone is complaining about "Haters" and that they should try learning about Michael and understanding him and his personality before judging etc. but when they do, they are called posers or fakes or they are yelled at for becoming a fan after his death.

Make up your ****** minds, do you want Michael to gain more fans, or do you want people to continue hating on him? It seems to me you'd choose the second answer with the feedback you're giving the new members :coffee:

I don't get why there is this competition to who is the "bigger/biggest" fan. I know someone who just discovered Michael after his death. She's only 12, so that's why she never really heard much about him. She knew he was someone famous, but she didn't know he was the "King of Pop" and all of that. She became interested in him and did some research. Now she ADORES Michael as much as we all do. She actually knows a lot more about Michael than some of these "older members" do.

Yup, I joined in March after the press conference. The annoying thing (to them) is that as long as the board is kept open there will always be new members! Older veterans may mature but MJJC is always open to new members, so you cant complain about it! What are they going to do, close the forum for a year so everyone becomes a real fan?

ditto. I guess wherever human nature is involved people have all sorts of weird mechanisms / power hierarchies / trips and other stuff that prevent them from functioning with other people on the same level, even if they don't quite realize this.

But I haven't seen a lot of new member targetting...
(though I know it happens).
Then again, I haven't been outta here that much :giggle:

Its no good i have to go and try to sleep! :( God feels like there is a party going on in my head my nose is running like a river and i feel like i have smoked a million fags in a day!!!!
