don't mind them. She hated the show before it started, so was looking for an excuse to bash them.
 
They can do whatever they want because MJ was their brother but it still doesn't make everything right because your family. Everything my family does it not right. Think about your own families. They put it out there publicly with the show people are going to comment about it.

I am glad they didn't show the grave. It would have been too much. I cried just seeing the sign Forest Lawn.

It is okay you love the family. Great. I love them too but I just don't like some of the things they do. Oh yes, I love Michael Jackson more.
 
People who say its for ratings.... that's a pretty illogical argument. How are you gaining ratings by doing something at the end of a show that wasn't even advertised?

Now if for weeks they had been advertising: "TUNE IN ON THE SEASON FINALE WHEN THE JACKSONS VISIT MICHAEL JACKSON'S GRAVE", then I could see people being appalled and shocked, because I would be one of the individuals up in the arms leading the fight.

Truth of the matter is, most of the individuals watching the show now are either Jackson Five fans or Michael Jackson fans, so ending the show like that didn't effect the ratings in anyway. And its not like there's a show next week, so showing Forest Lawn will have no impact on ratings.

Normally I wouldn't but the fact that this is coming from a project legacy team member is beyond a joke. Someone apparently chosen to 'protect' Michael's legacy and all I ever see is them spreading hate in his name. If they hate the family that much it is SO easy to avoid them. Don't read TMZ, stay out of the 2300 Jackson Street section and don't watch their show. Simple you would think. -_-

Not for ratings of the show in my opinion for future projects but anytime something is said not in agreement with the family it is bashing. I guess Terry Lewis was bashing them when he said that about MJ the biggest star ever is not in the group because he is not here anymore.
 
That wasn't bashing. That was truth. MJ was/is the heart and soul of the Jackson's group.

Bashing on the other hand is saying "Oh, anytime they use Michael Jackson's name, image, or likeness, it's for ratings."

To not portray Michael Jackson's name, image, and likeness would be going against my earlier argument that MJ was/is the heart and soul of the Jackson's group/family.

You said If they would have adverstised about the grave that would have been tasteless. I am paraphrasing. Well to some that may not be tasteless. The total ending to me was because he talked about a recurring dream and the brothers need to do this. You know the rest but that is my opinion.
 
I am honestly not surprise at the ending. Fans who went to give presents to Michael saw the brothers with a camera crew not long ago. They also concluded it was for the show, which made some of them fairly said.

I have no problem with the brothers visiting their brother and they said some sweet things. However, even though I was not emotional about the whole thing, I thought it boarders on bad taste. They could had done it without the camera and I honestly cannot see why they did it. For me, visiting someone is a private moment and not one that should be taken lightly or shared with just anyone. I think Michael would agree. Especially since this is the first time going to his grave since the funeral, so the camera crew will give people certain ideas and they left themselves open to it.

However, I will not blast them too hard. It is not like they took pictures and sold them to the media like another certain person did. They also never actually showed his grave, most likely because Forest Lawn wouldn't allow it.

In either case, I don't care what they did in the end, but it could had been worst.

That is all I am saying but some call it bashing. I was trying to tell them I am not bashing but didn't like the ending for reasons I gave previously. You are right it could have been worse but I don't believe the brothers would have gone any further that what they did. I do in my heart believe that.

Yes, I watched the darn show. And I still think it was despicable! You are free to think it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Whatever makes you happy.
 
I Just finished watching the show tonight and I confess myself Disappointed in the brothers. On one hand I do agree that it is to soon for them to do the show without Michael, But on the other hand The Show Must Go On. Michael Is trying to tell Jermaine this in the dream he keeps having and tonight they went to See Michael. Something i never expected but was waiting for.

Maybe now they will see that they need to take a page from Michael's How To book and start over on their comeback. Yes we want to see the Jackson's come back and wow us but we want it to be right. Michael's best was PERFECT and nothing less. To him if it wasn't perfect it wasn't good enough. They need to see this and work the way Michael did or they need to ask themselves "What Would Michael Do?". I love the brothers and i think that if Tito and Jermaine rush into it it wont be up to the standard that Michael himself has set for the Jackson's.

Just because Michael isn't there doesn't mean they are going to be rubbish. Michael was the lead yes but Marlon or Jermaine even can do just as good. I hope they call that lawyer and say the concert is on again.

I don't want to be disappointed but I am. They can make the group work but not reference MJ in anyway because we will always compare. I am so sad and disappointed in them right now. They did advertise a surprise ending one of the brothers said it. I am going to bed.

The Jacksons are not Michael and it would be pointless if they tried to do things Michael's way. That is simply not possible. As Jimmy Jam and Lewis said, they have to find a new sound and style that will become their norm since Michael is not there. Whether fans like it or not, the Jackson 5 is dead. Whatever the brothers chose to become will not be the Jacksons of old since Michael pretty much was the Jackson 5 in many ways.

One of the big things that they need to overcome is who will be the lead. You said Marlon and Jermaine, but neither one of them are lead voice material. Marlon has a fairly weak voice and Jermaine only sounds good on certain songs, namely ballets or soft R&B. None of them have that unique standout voice that Michael had and I am interested to see how they will overcome that or if they even can. You kind of see bits of this even in Tito's shows when he had a woman singing Michael's parts instead of trying it himself.

Again my point is missed. I said they should try and WORK like michael. but this thread seems to be all one sided so forget all my posts completely. you all keep thinking the way you do and that will help you sleep at night. But what i said is truth. This is more then likely one reason michael wouldnt do anything with his brothers. So go on keep saying Michael wasn't the group when we all know if Michael hadn't joined that group there would be no J5.
