is anyone worried about michael's reputaion if there is a trial

A circus will come out from that trial,a nasty circus, but as cruel and hard it will be I wouldn't worry too much.
Public opinion in general(not talking about fans here) has shifted towards MJ a lot in the last 8 months, and stories that were supposed to make crazy headlines less than a year ago like the ones by klein are seen as dumb. Those that make headlines are easily forgotten in a couple of days/weeks...and fans won't change their mind about M no matter what.

I agree with what people posted on here. I'm with him All the way... I wont WAVER!!! I realize now that this is just earth...Nothing that happened here will NEVER matter. When we go Up there is when it matters. But at the same time it gets me when people on TV like Billy Bush(from Access hollywood) say the truth and nobody gives a SH!T But then when Diane DEMON openes her mouth...people will stick to her like a magnet !!!

Ofcourse, I know they are all gonna get what is waiting for them. It started with Evan, then Martin then now Nancy Grace...

I'm over the ppl. who try to destroy his reputation cuz what matters is only what fans think and believe...cuz we are in billions! We are his army !!! we are his soldiers!!! Keeping that in mind, I'll fight til the end...

No, I stopped caring about what people had to say about MJ long time ago. It never made me love him less, it only made me wanna fight for him more. He might have his flaws, but he was only human. People need to realize that.

I don't care what any of those shitty reporters or Murray has to say. It isn't about them, it never was. So bring it on, because me and another million fans are willing to defend his legacy. And believe me, MJ fans can be annoying when it comes down to defending Michael, so they better shut it for the sake of it.

I never doubted Michael. If there are seriously going to be people who are going to let whatever comes out of the trial influence their opinion, well then I guess they never trusted him in the first place.

Exactly!!

We will not waver, we are his sword and shield. We are his army!!

after what mj went through in 03-05 nothing can damage him.this is nothing. so he gets called a druggie?

exactly.

I am there for him 10000 per cent. When I became a fan in 1993 I said that I will be his fan till the day I die. I will always support him no matter what.

We KNOW Michael. We know what kind of person he was, we know his heart. Nothing anyone could say will ever change anything.

Murrary's defense will spread lies and slants on the situation.

Michael's fans will spread the TRUTH and the LOVE!

It's inevitable that they are going to trash him and make stuff up. So we just have to be ready for it and comeback with the facts!

No, because there is nothing they could say that can hurt Michael now. He survived the worst that people said for years and people are going to think what they want. It's obvious why Murray will do that and I am not buying it. He killed Michael.

What can they say about him to trash his reputation? That he had problems with drugs? That would hardly be a shocking surprise for anyone by now.

you fans who keep MJ's positive legacy alive, have to give yourselves more value than you are giving yourselves. there are many more of you, than those who have an axe to grind, whether they are in the media, the government, or elsewhere. and you are the light of the world. those who hold negativity and hate, are not the light of the world. it is YOU who are like Michael. and there are enough of YOU for MJ's legit positive legacy to be preserved. You've done it through the last 15 plus years, along with Michael himself. there's no stopping you, or Michael's light, now.

and it's not as if there is anyone in history who has detractors. but for you, there is legitimacy, because the truth runs marathons, and lies run in sprints, and tire out. MJ's detractors have no truth.

I was thinking the same but Michael's legacy will last longer than people calling him a druggie. Look at Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe, people respect their work more than anything else. I'm sure this will pass.

Yes I am very worried. I dont think this trial is worth it for only 4 years sentence.

Murray's team are going to drag Michael through the mud. In order for us to get "justice" for Michael, Michael is going to be destroyed along the way. If this man just disappeared and didnt stand trial, Michael would be LAST remembered for all the tributes and awards etc. This way, Murray may well go behind bars but at what cost?

Either way there is no justice for Michael and it breaks my heart. 4 years is a joke. And on top of that, this will hurt us, the fans too. None of it is fair, none of it is right. This is not justice.

EDIT: that being said, like all of you, I am with Michael no matter what. If we must fight for a pitiful 4 year sentence then that is EXACTLY what we will do!

I don't give 2 SHITS about what the media says OR what the lawyers says.. I know what true and what not true. I JUST WANT 2 KNOW WHAT DA HELL HAPPEN ON DAT NIGHT WHEN HE DIED...

I am watching Rick Sanchez right now on CNN and they did a short piece on the news and him and his 'analyst' are blaming Michael more about what happend then Dr. Death. They brought up Deepak Chopra on the fact that celebrities can get whatever medication they want in Hollywood because they have money and fame. They are saying that doctors get caught up in the middle because they get 'starstruck'.

On June 13th, 2005 I stopped caring. An innocent man's freedom mattered more then whatever crap the media continued to try and sling at Michael (and there was PLENTY of it).

I resided to the fact that Michael's name would never be clear as long as the media told the story, but at least the man in question didn't have to spend the rest of his life in jail.

I still feel the same, only now forunately (and also unforunately :() Michael's free from it all.

His legacy will live on, no matter who tries to sling mud at him.

Poor doctors...... NOT! This defense about MJ's drug problems and that he would have got what he wanted no matter what is SOOOOOO LAME! Yes, if Murray hadn't given him what he wanted he would have probably fired him and got another doctor. But that does NOT excuse him!
Murray wasn't the doctor who didn't give him what he wanted but he was the doctor who enabled him! Period. In an ideal world we would only have doctors who would have refused to give him this stuff and offered him alternative methods of healing and then he would be still living. But unfortunately there are doctors like Murray. It was his choice to be that kind of doctor and not the one who refuses to enable patients. So he should be held accountable for it!

they have tried so many times to destroy MJ's reputation, it never worked then and it won't work now. for all those that believe the tabloid trash there is us to put them straight and give them the facts.
nothing that is said can ever stop me loving Mike.. not ever.

The media and everyone else can say what they like about Michael. We will always be there to debunk their stupid allegations and accusations with the FACTS. We did this in 2005 and we'll do it again.

I really don't think this will do anything bad for his reputation. Maybe even the contrary. I think it will be good for MJ if Murray is sent to jail for murder. That way people will stop saying he was in a bad shape, suicide etc. etc. all the rumours will stop and the truth will be the truth.

Beat me, bash me, you can never trash me. Hick me, kick me, you can never get me...

I was so dreading this trial. But watching it live on TMZ and realizing THE GOVERMENT is actually on MICHAEL side defending him, and not maliciously trying to destroy him, made me wonder how can this trial help MICHAEL.??? It is a given Dr MURRAY defense is to muddy MJ'S reputation. The prosecution the opposite. They have to thoroughly research MJ'S life highlighting all of MJ'S positives, which are awe inspiring. All of this presented in court in front of an international media with the world watching.

The public is always pro-prosecution. It would be poetic justice if the entity that sought to destroy him in the end helped him most. Tell me i am not delusional.?

And if this goes to trial, I hope Prince and Paris are able to testify. Info they have about their father, may throw involuntary manslaughter out the window...who knows....

At first I thought you meant that they would take up more BS from the past thats why I wrote this ...
There is nothing bad to say. What will they find when there is nothing to begin with? That so called Doctor (an Idiot would be a more proper name) said he was Michael's friend. How could he suddenly accuse him of a bunch of crap, It would look ridiculous. What a looser.

IT’S ALL ABOUT MONEY

So what if they "try" to.. at the end of the day Murray was his DOCTOR. Michael wasnt a doctor.. he was not trained about what the body can and cannot take.. Murray was. Whether Michael demanded the drugs, was addicted to pain killers or what.. it was Murray who administered them. Thats what its all about. Not about Michaels reputation or addiction or anything else. Its about who killed him. I hope the jury remembers that.

Those who count will know what Michael was put through and will support him no matter what.

It's already been said here already but basically what can they say that has not been said About Michael already? Shoot in the 1990's they printed every disgusting and crude thing they could about Michael. He still stood tall then.

Right now his family, friends, and fans are an extension of him. We can't break down cause of the negativity they spew. By those reports showing Mike was healthy and anything he might have taken in the past was because he did have pain issues. I would hope people would realize those things. And if they don't? then so what? They will get theirs in the end. I'm willing to bet when this trial get's going a lot of Mike's so called friends are going down.

I'm not worried about MJ's reputation one bit!

He has been called everything in the damn book and still his 'gifts' shined brighter than many. For a long time they loved to hang the 'child molestor' tag on him and now its the 'drug addict' label. If you ask me as much as it pains me to see them running with this addict angle, the whole child molestor thing was worse to me.

Michael's legacy will live on!

I am not worried, I am preparing myself because I know that is exactly what's going to happen. The defense is going to put Michael's lifestyle on trial and I have to admit there is a lot that they have in order to do so base on what has been talked about by people who worked with Michael, friends of his and some family members. I am willing to bet that they will have close friends of Michael to testify on their behalf. I am willing to bet that they will call all of the doctors that were asked to prescribe medication at Michael's request. The doctors do not have to devulge medical issues about Michael, but they can testify that he approached them for prescribed drugs if that is what happened. I wouldn't be suprised if I see Deepak Chopra and his son on the stand. Also you have members of the Jackson family that publicly stated that they knew Michael had issues with drug medication and that they tried to intervene and get him help, but they could not get to him. It is expected that this case will go to trail sometimes in 2011. Most of the legal experts that I've seen talk about the case says that it took 8 months after Michael death for them to press charges and the only thing they the prosecutors could come up with is involuntary manslaughter.

I believe Murray will be convicted, but people are going to know things about Michael that we never knew with it comes to his private life and that could damage his reputation as a person.
