I have always been a big Peter Pan fan it was my favorite movies as a kid and the movie Hook with Robin Williams really made my child hood I would spend hours in the backyard pretending to fight pirates. I saw Peter Pan the first night I got my Dog 10 years ago. He has always been an important figure to me because it makes me think of the good ol days when I was a little kid and everything was an adventure.

What about you guys?

To be honest, I've never seen Peter Pan. I've been saying this for a few years now and it was a movie that I have always wanted to see. Just never got around to it. I know the gist of the story and the only thing close to Peter Pan that I saw before is that movie with Jeremy Sumpter. lol.

i love the book and i re-read it from time to time. What Michael said about the whole story, characters make the perfect sense to me. I wonder whether Michael knew about Pippi the Longstocking. My favourite.

I don't know if I ever related to the concept but I know I enjoyed the story when I was a kid. I remember having a Peter Pan story in the Little Golden Books series and loved reading it and looking at the pictures...

Honestly, it used to scare me as a kid, the idea of some boy flying through my window and 'kidnapping' me. ;)
But now I appreciate the depth to it far more, haha. Thanks Michael. :)

Yeah and the movie Hook reminds me of the good old days to, they used to put it on every christmas and that was the highlight for me! :D hehe

I like Peter Pan and I saw different versions of it. Like the disney one, hook and a few others. I have the disney one as special edition dvd. It isn't my favorite disney movie but it's cool :)

I've alway loved Peter Pan...It wasn't my favourite Disney movie as a kid...but I have always really loved it...I love Hook (Robin Williams) I really respect all those types of things that encourage adults to remain childlike....that is the essence of life, really...and it was amazing that Michael always stayed true to that....I think we should all follow that example...this world just may be a better place...

I have always love Peter Pan. I still have the old VHS tape version of Disney's Pater Pan up in my MJ shrine's (bedroom) closet. Still in it's original case. I even used to have the poster of that movie. But my mother probably gotten rid of it a very long time ago.

to be honest, when I was little I thought Peter Pan was a "boyish story". Well, the principal character is a boy. So i guess I wasn't interested in the story that much because I admit, I was a girly girl back then
But as I grew up I turned into a tomboy (haha). Michael made me look into this story and I fell in love with it.
