So, he thinks the way to communicate with MJ now is twitter.

Saying "sorry bro, for not getting ur children to the anniversary" that Randy is being disrespectful to Michael, Prince, Paris, Blanket, and your mother Katherine. Katherine being the guardian of the children obviously made a decision in their best interests that they would not stay in LA or be in Gary, on the anniversary.

The last thing that Michael would want is his 3 babies, who love and miss him, being paraded in front of the world and paparazzi at Forest Lawn on the anniversary of his death. Michael wanted his life with his children to be private, the children can certainly pay respects to the father at another time, when their every move, facial expression, tears can't be analyzed and their pictures spread everywhere.

I was very glad to know that the kids were in Hawaii, trying to and hopefully having fun, while I'm sure missing their daddy terribly. As another poster said their daddy is in their hearts and that's all that matters.

Please Randy, think about what is best for Michael's children, that is the best way you could ever remember Michael.

The fact that Schaffel is around Mrs. Jackson is disturbing. But, I think the problem may have been that when her agenda was the well being of her grandchildren and mourning her son, which is what she very well should have been focused on, she was also getting sideswiped with all these other agendas (ex. contesting the will, having Michael buried at Neverland, etc). Whether those other agendas were important/right or not, at some point she determined that that was not her agenda. So, in walk Rowe and Schaffel "on the same page" as Mrs. Jackson ("concern" about the children). Of course it would be easy for them to get her ear. It would have been so much harder to get to her and latch on to her if perhaps some others would have put their agendas on hold and held on to hers a little tighter.

and no I really do not think that it would be a nice choice to parade the kids in front of everyone and they might be ready to attend a memorial for their dad. They are kids.

I dont know what to think of Randy jackson and ive not read this whole thread yet. BUT I was shocked to hear that the kids were not there at Forest Lawn that day. I might be unpopular for saying so but I really think they should have been.
 
You don't know if they were there or not. They could have gone the day before What they did not need to be paraded in front of cameras on that day
 
Why should the kids have been there? So the paps could get close-up photos of their sad faces when they arrive and leave FL? I hope that they were given the choice, and I'm glad that Katherine didn't force them to go if they didn't want to.

The Jackson family has always been public so I understand why Randy is addressing the fans. Why half the family does one thing and the other half does something else is beyond me.

I dont understand why Katherines lawyers are ok with her association with the Jackson Family Foundation if it isnt legal? Are Joe and Katherine worried about legal ramifications from the estate?

That's exactly what Steven wanted the way they showed up there was a more of self promotion campain than going to someone's annniversary. Thank god his mother recognized his shady schemes right then and there

It always seemed to me that Randy and Janet are the ones truly looking out for michael.

I guess its just what they say and how they say it, but I don't hold a grudge. Michael forgave Joe in the end I'm sure he would forgive them, and I think thats what some of us need to do.

sure M would totally forgive his bro for wanting to parade around his kids and his father for exploiting once again his wife....MJ was a forgiving person but he was not an blind moron and so are his fans...i'm not gonna "forgive" or understand their actions no more...because this shameful behaviour has become a daily routine...it was barable as long as money was involved or their reckless attempts to get some,but when his kids are involved i'm not gonna close an eye...singing belts,selling stories to tabloids,tipping paparazzi everywhere they go(i mean paparazzi don't choose random places they are CALLED)and now i read complains because they were not part of a public event in front of cameras and paparazzi for everybody to see!....
Shame on you Randy,and shame to who ever disrespect M lifestyle and wishes like this...
M forgave everyone but apparently many in his own family didn't "forgive" him for being one of a kind and being a musical genius with everything that goes with it like shitloads of money they are only left to crave for...

Michael drew the line when it came to his children he would have kicked Randy's bald head if he knew he wanted/planned to parade his children around period. Tito's three sons have acted in a way more dignified manner than Michael's own siblings what a shame. When they are older Michael's children will feel a lot of grattitude for Taj, TJ, and Taryll. Just like they feel for Michael for everything he did for them, they show their gratitude by taking and guiding the ones that were the dearest to him which are his children.
 
Apparently, the Jackson family had their own photographer at Forest Lawn. The photos are online, I saw them on KOP. So it's good that MJ3 weren't there.

And that's why I "think" Randy was working so hard on getting Michael's children to attend. I mean, surely pictures such as these would have garnered way more attention and MONEY had Michael's three children been involved in this memorial.

I'm also glad they were not there. They are not objects that should be put on display for someones personal gain and/or to elevate one's non-existent status!
