Ray even admitted in his book that Evan asked Michael in August for money, before they reported the allegations to Dr. Abrams. But Michael refused to give it to him.

On page 128, here’s what he says:

It's basically Ray Chandler admitting in his own book that it was all about the money! That if Michael had paid them the first time they wanted him to pay, before they went public with the allegations, then there would not have been any allegations at all!
"All that glitters" is a book where Ray manages to dig themselves in a big hole - not intentionally, but because he is too stupid to see that he has just admitted something incriminating for them! This is not the only part in it which does that.....

BTW, the fact Michael wasn't willing to pay, shows his innocence once again! If he had been guilty he would have been happy to pay the 20 million the first time the Chandlers made their demand and that would have avoided them to go public!

I can tell you about one fan (me), I don't ask 'why' because for me its obvious to defend Michael. When people accuse him in front of me I automatically defend him. if not the fans then who? I think its the least we can do after all he gave us.

Thank you for posting this. I thought I knew a lot about the Arviso extortion plot--I mean trial--but I was not aware of this. I'd never heard of R Chandler's pack of lies in book form. This must be the "evidence" those determined to believe the lie are referring to. It's important to be able to address each lie with logic, facts and documents. This will be effective ammunition and I will use it! With calm, relentless presentation of facts I have changed two minds about MJs (supposed) guilt--it can be done!

Yea, the Jacksons should do more in educating the public and I have seen them do it! But, it's like not many media outlets would really let them I don't think! I don't know if you guys did, but I didn't know about it until now: Ray Chandler was subpoened by Michael's defense in the 2005 trial and he was scared to death by that. There are documents proving how he fought his way out of it, so that he wouldn't have to go on court and repeat the lies he told in the media under oath and doesn't have to show his alleged "evidence" that he refers to in his book "All that glitters":

Jordan Chandler threatened the authorities to sue them if they force him to testify (it's in the FBI files).
Evan Chandler refused to testify.
Ray Chandler too was running scared from being forced to testify.

Remember Ray Chandler is a guy who had no problem making his media rounds and release a book about the 1993 case at the time of the trial! Yet, when he was called to prove his words and show his alleged "evidence" on the stand (by Michael's defense!) he was running scared!

And people still think Michael was guilty? Oh, c'mon! These people have "LIAR" written on them all over!

And BTW, it also shows how confident Michael's defense were in his innocence!

The sad fact is some people have it firmly imprinted on their minds that Michael was a child molester. I have had so many arguments with people about it and it has left me frustrated as you present all the facts, which clearly exonerate Michael, but some people do not want to hear it. Its like a fan utopia that how great info we know about the cases and we are sooo happy about this, because we do know that Michael has always been innocent.

But what about the general public? All the people reading daily news and tabloid.
People have to now that, not only MJ fans.

If Aphrodite Jones was able to publish her book Conspiracy with facts, or other people books like For record... why anybody would not write a book with facts like these and publish it, promote it and create the public discussion!?

On a different note. Mesereau apparantly had friends of Jordy that were gonna witness for the defense... I mean, did Jordy know about his friends decisions/approved of this/was he Ok with it/was this kind of let the world know the true through his friends?
It was also reported that the prosecution actually never contacted Jordy to come and witness for them- they just said he was out of the country-when he in fact were skiing in California-someone had tipped of the paparazzis and caught him there, so he was not out of the country at that time. If this is true, were the prosecution afraid that "star witness" would spill the beans? Do you guys also remember Geraldine Hughes telling fans that Jordy Chandler had agreed to witness for the defense?? Meserau also said the reasons for why they, the defense, never asked Jordy to court was what would happen if he all of a sudden would sing a different tune? ... and then after the verdict, Jordy accused his father of trying to kill him.
