How are you fellow Brits getting to Disneyland? Looking at the Eurostar, or flights, and it's still looking expensive. I'm seeing Dara O Briain in London on the 20th, so need to make it as cheap and easy as possible! Thinking of going to Lyon mid-september and then get the TGV to paris and go from there at the moment as promised i'd go and see my french host family sometime this year! x

Myself and two others are going in my car and driving to Paris, catching the ferry :)

OH :( !! I'm so sorry not to be able being there when I'm near Paris, I'm ashamed but I'm working on saturday and there is no way for me to have some vacation this day - I would have loved to meet you, I hope we could do it one day. Have good fun :punk: I will try to go seeing Captain Eo in October with my son and my husband, I know they will love it !!

:( I have to work until October ... Now Im sad I realy thought I could come I have many relatives & Friends there so I use to visit them at least once a year now Im stuck here with work all of a sudden. Maybe I could call in sick :D

I have question, it's a bit lame but bare with me please....

Is the Captain Eo at Disneyland Paris screened in English (so Michael's voice), or is it dubbed over with English subtitles????????


Just curious is all after loving the Captain Eo I saw at Disneyland California earlier this year, I would hope it is the original voices =)

OK, have been looking at the costs and it's way too expensive! Looking at spending upwards of £400 just for a couple of days :(

Its screened in English. I saw it at Disney when I was 12 and it was in English

No, there is not a facebook event page, just here!
All the info you will need is on the front page and I will be updating it over the next few days.
Keep an eye on this thread for all info and details!
I really hope you join us, it will be so good to meet more MJJC family from around the world!
We will be going to see Captain Eo lots of times and spending the day having fun around the park for Michael :)

Would be great if you guys could meet up with us. We'll be there from Friday and as the Becca mentioned, you can get all the meet up information on the very first page of this thread.

No, I am going to Paris on holiday, and meeting you guys would be great!
I saw Captain Eo when Disneyland Paris opened, in '93 and every year after that until they removed it.

I was asking about an hour and a meeting place in Disney (around or after 11am would be good, the RER takes about an hour to get to Marne la Vallee). Maybe you could PM me and Billie Jean 78 :)

I would love to meet you guys, even if I don't know any of you yet. I just got this idea about two days ago when I accidentally read this thread. Still not quite sure if I'm being very smart about this 'cause if I do go I'd be flying especially from Slovenia for Captain Eo. That's crazy, right? But then again, for the memory of Michael... Not too crazy!

If we were to meet at Disney or even go there together, then it would be advisable to go as soon as possible so we can make the most of the day, right? Does anyone know when they open?

Plus, is Marne la Valle the station at Disneyland?

A few of us are staying at the resort so we'll be at Disney all the time. If we all designate a time to meet up outside Captain EO on the 18th that will work, then everyone who is coming from outside the resort has a time to meet everyone.

We will be meeting on Saturday 18th at 12PM outside where they are showing Captain EO!!!

I will be giving out my mobile number as a central contact for the day.
