Exactly! I don't understand why a lot of people here are excited about this interview. NOTHING really changed! Trust me when I tell you that the world tuned in to see this interview to hear about the molestation charges and drug addiction, NOT their supossedly love story (they could care less). When she answered these two questions, she basically reaffirmed their beliefs...........that Michael WAS a drug addict and WAS capable of molesting a child.

do you think it's really fair to say he didn't really deeply love Debbie Rowe? maybe none of us understand that kind of a relationship.

Michael's actions showed that there was no romance between them. I am sure Michael loved Debbie as a friend but when he was married to her he was flying all over the world with Lisa, it was clear that they were still seeing each other when he was married to debbie.

What exactly did you enjoy about it? that it helped LMP or that she portrayed MJ as a drug addict? I didn't watch the interview but looking at the posts of some in this thread LMP doesn't help MJ at all.. All of this 'drug' talk will help Murray go free

I am torn. But I am glad she FINALLY admitted to being a bitter ex-wife in 2005.

MJ obviously forgave her (he called to know if she still loved him)...I go back to the Glenda tapes when MJ kept saying he did not want to die without knowing love.

Today, I forgave LMP because for several years, she gave that to MJ.

Michael wasnt doing "Drugs" in 1995 when He collapsed. Go watch a vid of Doctors and Spokesman sayin that Michael Was dehydrated…

I know Some fans have a different view on Lisa… But in all honesty, I'm still in the same state of mind when it comes to her. I'm not bitter towards her but I dislike what she had said and Has said… Just my POV and its takes away the last strand of "respect" I ever had, will ever have for her…

And we cannot forget MJ's own words to Schmuley in 2001. He said he closed his heart to her. he obviously moved on. She was the one that did not as shown from all of her bitternerss towards him. ALso, MJ was very sensitive. Knowing someone was completely writing you off, especially at a time when so many he thought were his friends were writing him off, must have been very hurtful to him. I am sure at this time period he cried many times at the betrayal of so many he was once intimate with.

Given MJ's own words, I think this is more logical. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he hated her. He probably still cared for her. But being IN love with her, madly and deeply, I think not.

But I agree the interview with Katherine is what is important now.:yes:

i don't think it's fair to judge a relationship based on just your view. i haven't heard from Debbie yet on this. and of course, i won't hear from Michael. and, of course people are talking about the Shmuley tapes, too.

Ok, so I had DVR'd the Oprah show (as I do everyday) and have watched the interview. This was very interesting. I do feel some sympathy for Lisa Marie (don't hurt me). She's feeling a lot of guilt and regret. She's acknowledging that she made mistakes and said some things out of anger/hurt. They both did things to hurt each other. They were both stubborn people. Nobody's perfect. These are two very complicated people with complicated, atypical pasts and histories. People say and do things they can later regret. Death has a way of shaking people up.

I did not know that the home that Michael passed away in was close to where Elvis had a home. Interesting.

Now, I agree that once again they are making it sound as if pain killer type "drugs" are what killed Michael when that was not the case at all. What killed him were those drugs doctor death gave him to supposedly help him sleep. I guess little details like that are not important to certain people. But Michael did (apparently) have a huge problem that was not treated and dealt with properly and that was his chronic sleep disorder.

sure he might have loved her as a friend, he might have loved her giving him his kids - there are a lot different kinds of love and I'm sure he loved her in some way but to me it's obvious that this wasn't a romantic love - that's what I was trying to say with madly truly deeply.

regardless I have utmost respect for Debbie, like I said that much unselfish giving is really rare.

i don't mean to add this info, but i don't know how else to convey. you first spoke of a relationship you had, then you compared it to the LMP MJ one...

perhaps you are coming from your own perspective. then there is the fact that LMP wasn't telling this story before. now she tells differently. i don't know which is true. then there's the Shmuley tapes. then there's the fact that there are aspects of MJ you or i don't understand, and can't judge..

then there's him saying that Diana Ross was the first great love of his life.

so..as far as truly madly deeply....it's all up for debate..i'm not saying you're wrong or right...but i don't think any of us can be sure..

at this time, i'd love to hear from Michael..but..then...no matter how many times we hear something, we'll believe what we believe.
