I've pre ordered mine from hmv.Usually, fingers crossed, I get my new releases delivered the Saturday before the official Monday release.If it does end up coming out on the Tuesday in the uk, it may get delivered on the Monday.

'Breaking News' won't be the first "physical"/"digitally downloadable from itunes" single. It will be just an online single (not purchasable). Just to stir up the excitement of the public.

Nov. 8: 'breaking news' released online at mj.com
Late November: first official single (with radio airplays too)

You know what , i bet Michael never thought he would DIE so young , so i am sure he wouldnt want his work just to go in the bin after all the hours of work put into a single song . Also , im sure he would be pleased that his children benefit from the sales .

Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson, and his two eldest children, Prince Michael and Paris, have gone so far as to charge that the tracks are fakes -- sung by a Jackson impersonator, TMZ reported. The website claims the children were present when their father recorded some of the songs and that the tracks on the album don't match what they heard.

But Sony's Epic Records has guaranteed the album is authentic.

'Breaking News' is from the Cascio's recording sessions.

Found out an old article from NYdailynews (which quotes friedman's article):

The late musician spent three months in New Jersey with Eddie (Angel) Cascio, with whom he recorded the 12 new tracks. Three of the titles on the album include "Breaking News," "Burn Tonight" and "Water," which can reportedly be heard in the recently released documentary "This Is It."

“Breaking News,” a never heard before song by Michael that appears on the new album was recorded in New Jersey in 2007 and recently brought to completion.

Katherine is a good person just like Michael
And these two children are Michael's children.. they are like their father..
WHY should these 3 people lie about Michael, who he was closest to in his family?
If Joe said that, I wouldn't believe...
Dupsy don't judge Katherine, Paris, and Prince... They would never do this to Michael.. you know that..

Oh guys, by the way - I had a dream about "Breaking News" today. Heard the whole song in my sleep. The verses were sung unlike anything MJ did before - in a low voice like in "2000 Watts", but in style they were similar to "Scream". The chorus was the MJ we all know, in his normal voice... It was an amazing dream - I even heard how the percussions layered...and strings in the chorus!

When it's stated that he recorded "with" Eddie Cascio, does anyone know in what capacity, i.e. was EC a singer, producer, writer, etc?

The thing that bugs me: will there be any Michael written tracks on this album? IMO his self-written songs have always been his best songs.

:lol: Hypocrite. Were you honoring Michael's wishes when you encouraged Joe to go up against Michael's will, the beneficiaries and the very people Michael himself NAMED as executors? Were you honoring Michael's wishes when you tried to get Joe a huge chunk of Michael's money? Practice what you preach, Brian. Seriously.

the thing is I pre ordered Vision with Amazon UK, so I might just let that one and have both things ordered from MJ.com to get also the t-shirt :)

I hope so. I wouldn't be surprised if some greedy shmuck will give themselves a co-writing credit on one of MJ's self written tracks just so they can get money.

Lol, exactly. Couldn't have said it better myself!
It is Oxman who is doing everything MJ wouldn't approve of. Oxman does in fact badmouth Michael anytime he speaks to the media. Mike would be pissed to hear all the crap BO comes up with.

How does one get the T-shirt? I looked on the MJ site but didn't see info.... does it come as a bonus for the CD, DVD, both?

Am not judging the kids,am not even sure if they said it's not their dad's vocal but am really pissed of with the adult family members, Oxman is joe's lawyer and wouldn't have made such a statement it wasnt approved by joe or some other members of the family.

I think it's likely that people will give themselves co-writing credits and not necessarily out of greed, but after all many of these tracks were unfinished. But even if it's just "co-written" I'd like Michael written tracks on the album! His best are always those which he's written alone, but even co-written is better than not written by him at all.
