Yeah I've heard sentiments like "just let the man rest" coming from certain people.
I think because their has been so much drama surrounding Michael for like a year and a half.
It has made some people feel like they are just "milking" it now. Kind of like what Will.I.am was saying.

I hope the song will still become a hit though. Michael deserves it I think.
Love seeing how well it's doing in several countries already!

Well I just listen to the official MP3 from ITUNES and I must admit it sounds much better to me now. Sound quality makes a lot of difference.. The CD should sound even better..

The 'final' new version is definately better than the leaked one.
I've just been comparing the two and the greatest improvements in my opinion are:
- 'Convict music' replaced by 'Akon and MJ'
- More Michael 'ooh' and 'yeah's' so it sounds more like a duet. Especially the 'yeah yeah' at 1.30u is really funky!

I think the reason it's the opening track on the album is because of the opening line.... 'this life won't last forever'....

28th November. I'm not sure why there's such a delay. Perhaps they have a promotion event coming and wanted to delay the single until then...

Agree.
It sounds like MJ did his usual trick of recording one verse and then moved onto something else without finishing it. At least that's what Teddy said he always did and it sounds true for this song IMO.

People who hate Breaking News love HMH which has a lot more effects on Michael's voice. Go Figure! :doh:

According to most online polls, the majority likes BN. I love it. Can't stop listening and dancing to it. It's the best dance song of the decade.

I guess it comes down to liking upbeat music or ballads better. Surely the CD will sell big time and it looks like Sony chose songs for every musical taste on it.

Agree. It's more like Akon's song but I'm still loving this song. It's a beautiful song to me. Michael's voice is perfect there :wub::wub:

Speaking of radio station, I doubt my country's radio stations have started playing it :doh: I'm pretty bored with the Gaga, Swift, Rhianna,etc (you name them) songs on radio like there are no other artists in this world besides them.

wow he is moving up fast number 1 by the end of the day on all Itunes :)
 
IN the UK this morning, Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles talked about Hold My Hand for 20 minutes, and then played it. He then talked about it for a further 10 minutes. Big promotion for the song. He liked it but found it weird hearing MJ sing something new now that he is dead.

It's better than the old one for sure, but Akon's annoying voice trying to sing just makes it below the level of the great Michael Jackson. It is never gonna an MJ timeless classic as long as Akon is there singing. Just leave it to Mike to dazzle and make a gem out of this.
