l am screaming at home "Hollywood tonight,She's going Hollywood tonight" ,l think father's going to yell at me ,l have enough of this song no go to bed......am l supposed to make him fly away to Africa to see Michael's dancing african.

Hollywood Tonight is definitely the best catchy song on the album! And at least there is no dilemma about the fact that it is 100% MJ!

A part of the song in the background the chorus makes me think of the chorus in the beginning of the song THE HURT on the VICTORY album!

It's such a shame Michael didn't sing the song THE HURT, I'd love to hear him sing that song.

From listening to the album for a few days, the one song that keeps going through my head is 'Hollywood Tonight'. It's so nicely catchy! Don't know if everyone agrees, but I would like to hear the choir slightly longer at the start to build up momentum, and less of the talking in the middle. This song would have been a massive killer if he'd done a bridge.

This song has been on repeat all day for me. I can not get enough of it. The spoken part is a little long for me though.

I was actually just coming in this thread before to say that this song has grown on me more than any other song in the album. I may change my mind about HT as the second single and change it to Monster.

Yeah.It's not that I don't like the song,it's amazing,but it sounds rather unfinished,1/2 of it it's spoken and after a period it's getting repetitive...

I LOVE Monster btw :punk:

Wait, I actually messed up again lol. That post above I meant to put in the MONSTER thread.

HT gets off to a really great start and hits the listener quicker. The only bad thing is that MJ didn't have a chance to finish a bridge and to possibly add in another verse. I think it would, far and away, be his best song in years if only he had been around to finish it.

Honestly, I'm also really catching on to Breaking News. I just don't particularly like the lyrics, especially given that they are redundant with Monster.

Do you know if an acapella version exists ? I love the song, but I'm so disappointed the voice has been vocoded. Remember Michael didn't like it (interview with Will.i.am in 2008).

Its an awesome awesome song, just makes you want to dance, but always nice to see Teddy and Tarryl's feud cropping up once again :rolleyes:

What i can say is. On CD it sounds much better then any Stream or Leak. Unbelievable until yesterday i listen the Album again and again:clapping::punk:

IN her painted on jeans

I don't get the logic of the painted jeans and why is it IN her jeans?

It's just a way to describe what she's wearing and how she looks...Just picture her on her way to Hollywood...'lipstick in hand....Tahitian tanned (she's got a deep tan)...in her painted on jeans...(she's wearing VERY tight, form fitting jeans that look almost painted on her body)

One of MJs best songs for the last 20 years with no doubt. Still sad that MJ is not here to put his finishing touch.....

I love this song and i have been blasting it in my car for the last couple of days.
However, i just wish Mike had had the chance to complete it. As someone said in a post above, one more verse and a bridge would have made this track out of this world. Also, i am sure Mike would have ironed out the "To tinsel town" stutter/glitch on the final recording.
