Is TMZ the only source that could offer this info? And others for that matter. Certainly more media agencies will pick up on that.

It looks like they got this info from Katherine's lawyer. As the documents come out, other's will report it too. Unfortunately TMZ is generally the fastest one to report (and they have dedicated staff members that follow these MJ related topics).

Kenny is someone that worked with Michael for two decades, he didn't need Michael for money whatsoever. This is the guy that directed High School Musical. I always believed that Kenny loved Michael dearly and glad he has been taken off this suit.

Like I stated the other day..that lawsuit is a farce. A money grab concocted most probably by Randy Jackson ...I hope this whole thing gets thrown out.

Then we'll see who they are gonna sue next....or they might just latch harder to the estate's tits.

This frivolous lawsuit is making a mockery of Michael death.

I'm delighted to hear this news, and HOPE it's really true.

Kenny Ortega should have NEVER been added to this lawsuit in the first place. How the flock can you justify filing a lawsuit, a wrongful death lawsuit at that, and NOT have all of the necessary information.

Apology my behind! They need to reimburse Kenny for the money he had to lay-out in order to hire an attorney to defend him from this FARCE.

So EMBARRASSING to have filed a lawsuit, and then have to apologize because you didn't have all of the necessary information and "most likely" just relied on hear-say and stories that were third-fourth hand tellings.

Mr. Ortega I'm sorry you had to be put through this nonsense!

call me skeptical but I don't think they discovered anything new. Let's look to timeline

January 7th Kenny files his request to be removed as defendant
January 20th Katherine files her opposition to this request
January 26th Kenny files an additional response to address KJ's claims.
February 1 Katherine removes Kenny as defendant.

So they claim they discovered new information in the last 11 days? I'll say not likely.

It's most probably as Kenny was hired as an independent contractor a)he wasn't a representative of AEG and
as he had nothing to do with hiring and paying of Murray b)he wasn't in a position to dictate MJ's healthcare to Murray and c)can't be expected to supervise Murray.

Yeah..but Kenny is not like the Jacksons, I wouldn't be surprised if he just let the whole thing go and put it behind him...Like we've said, it's not about the money for Kenny..but I'm wondering what's gonna happen with this case?

I'm with you, I don't believe they found anything new. Who do they think they're kidding!

If they would have investigated the FACTS instead of relying on hear-say, they probably wouldn't have attached the poor man's name to this bogus lawsuit.

I can already see Karen Faye filling Randy Jackson's head up with HER version of the facts and Randy repeating her ramblings to the attorney in charge of this filing.

I just feel bad that Kenny had to be dragged into this mess. In my opinion, he has always shown himself to be a decent fellow.

You're right.. This had Randy and Karen Faye written all over it. Karen was probably feeding Randy this crap and Randy took it to the lawyers. If Karen was that concerned she should've intervened herself and insisted that MJ get help!

And if Ortega is "culpable," then so is SHE, in my opinion. She was there and unlike Kenny, she ALWAYS liked to make it known how close she was to Michael.

Funny how she is all up in Randy's grill now. Where was she when all of this was "supposedly" going down, why didn't she contact Randy then?

On a side note: Homegirl must be signed up with the TMZ ALERT squad. I mean, look how fast she got the update. LOL!

Karen needs to be quiet.. if Kenny is culpable then so is she.. She saw Mike.. she was putting on his makeup she could tell if he was sick and weak. She should've done something.

If Katherine wants to blame others, then she should also include herself, her husband and good for nothing other children for putting pressure on MJ for years and years. MJ's sleeping problem did not start during rehearsal...it's been going on for years since he was little. So, as far as I am concerned, if his mom wants to throw blame around...she should look in the mirror and her vicinity...

I would suggest you ignore StacyJ/Kaymon. If you go to the KOP board, she has a history of making posts like this. She also blamed Michael's kids for keeping him from making an album and touring. She also was argue at Michael for not touring not even a year after the trial happen.

and in my opinion if Randy felt his brother was sick and in danger of killing himself why didn't he do something? Randy could've crashed the rehearsals. They were right there in LA. Randy could've tried talking to Kenny Ortega or Travis Payne or whoever to see how his brother was doing. Did he do any of that?

I could be wrong (I'm "probably" not), but I don't recall anybody ever saying that any members of the Jackson family ever went to any of Michael's rehearsals. Which is strange, considering that they were, you know, such a "close" family.

Please, not one of his family members when to his rehearsals. Which isn't uncommon since none of the Jacksons goes to each other rehearsals. Michael told them (T3) he wanted to surprise them and refuse to tell them anything about the shows.

However if Michael was sick or dying and taking about ramming his gate, why didn't they 'ram' the rehearsal gate or get their homegirl Karen to let them in. Quite frankly, this lawsuit makes them look worst than AEG. Since it seemed they just didn't care. Especially if Katherine saw Michael a week before he died and talked about him being in good health.

I wonder if Katherine bothered to read her own lawsuit or did she just sign on the bot line.

Seems like she and Randy Jackson bonded AFTER the fact.

I don't believe anything Karen Faye says and believe she is only saying stuff now in order to satisfy her OWN agenda.

I mean, if, IF, things were as bad as she said, she certainly could have reached out to somebody in Michael's family. Even if it meant sitting outside of Havenhurst until somebody let her in.

And all of her "joyful" little tweets about how everything was going so wonderfully, ain't helping her case now, that's for sure.

Randy and Company picked the wrong "informant" in order to bolster their case. LOL!

I don't believe a single word Karen Faye says. I saw her tweets and FB updates before Michael died, they certainly werent of a woman worried about his wellbeing. She didn't have to go on Facebook and Twitter to write how amazing Michael was and how well rehearsals were going but she did. She could have kept quiet, not everyone involved with TII were tweeting and Facebooking.

Me too. -_- The question is, what if something really was happening, nobody did anything to help Michael. They were all looking at the whole thing happen and nobody did anything. Fact! That's what I see. Now, all appear saying they were worried and bla bla bla.... I'm tired it!!!

Can they ban KF from twitter and put a mussel on her, enough already, if kenny is culpable so is miss Faye she was putting makeup on mj everyday did she come out and say I am not going on this tour on till you get help Mj?
If you ask me she had more contact with mj than kenny because she was touching him every day and she saw nothing out of place on till he died?
Come on woman stop the bitterness, guilt is a big thing but find a way to deal with it Karen .

So then why tweet and facebook how well everything was going with rehersals then? Why help promote those that could have done something about it? Did u shut up for the money too?
