Murray Trial - October 11th - Day 10 - Discussion

lethal dose of propofol can range from 1 to 17 (can't remember the measurement)

Judge is having trouble hearing Dr Rogers...fixing the court microphone

Loraz and medaz had influence in the death...but agrees mostly talking about loraz as medaz was a small amount.

One of the reasons it was called homicide was the assumption by Dr.Rogers all benzodiazepines were not taken by MJ, when Dr.Roger agrees he had no idea whether MJ took pills or not that day he is refuting his own statement in the autopsy report .

The cause of death was Acute Propofol intoxication.

The thing about it he doesn't say what time he took those pills. Given that none were found in his stomach if Michael, for example, took pills at 2am it would had dissolved and be in his bloodstream. However, that amount at 2am wouldn't kill him if Murray gave him more drugs around 11am, you see what I mean. He was talking in a broad sense that he can't say that Michael took no pills at all in a 24hr period.

The defense is trying to twist that to mean that Michael took pills and it all dissolved and Murray didn't know. But, the timeframe doesn't meet this since how could Michael take all those pills and not feel the effects?

WTF orally taken is he talking about if Murray said to detectives about used antidot for flumasenil. He said it! He said that he gave to Michael two different meds that couldn't goes together - diprivan and benzes! Actually it's confession of guilt, isn't it?
One of the boduguards (dont remember who it was Amir or Alvarez) mentioned his words about bad reaction! Rogers said the cause of the death could be the wrong reaction between propophol and benz!
This guy should go in prison right now, what the hell is going on with this defence's speculations??

I think the defence are arguing Michael was a drug addict and those pills no longer had an effect on him and he would need to take more and more for it to start to have any effect.

It's like he's a teacher giving a pupil those stupid wordy maths problems to solve...

what level would 2mg iv dose acheive in the blood? he doesnt now. when u formed your opinion on COD u looked at the levels of diprivan in the blood and the benzos? yes. did u form an opinion on whether each level on its own would be lethal? yes he did. whats the lethal level for diprivan?. it ranges from 1-17mg per ml . he got the info from a toxics book. 2.6 level of diprivan in mj can u wake them up? he said u should be able to.and they should feel pain. whats the anesthetic level for loraz? he doesnt now. whats the level for repsonding to pain with loraz? he doesnt know.

was it just loraz or the benos altogether.interms of the COD he says altogether but midaz was a very small amount. so it was mostly loraz. going on about bleeding besalts book again. 1 pill gets 0.18 how many pills to get to a peak level of 1.69.? it would take about 9 pills. witness says

cornoers office ddint look at the stomach for loraz contents. same with the urine. looked at the urine for midaz though. why did you? he doesnt know. thats the toxicologist job. yet loraz was far more important that midaz. he agrees

450cc of urine collected around 7-730am according to murray. urine not as precise as a blood test.flannagans trying to say if the urine taken at autopsy was higher in loraz amounts than the amount of loraz found in the urine jug that means mj took loraz after 7.30am.flannagan asks him this and he agrees..

the pros fecked up by not testing the stomach for loraz and everything else. if anything gets him off it will be the loraz and the doubts of mj taking it himself imo

Even if he was an addict, no one can just take 8 lopz pill at once and just be fine. Also, according to the defense, Murray only left the room once. Where within a 2 hours time span did Michael eat 8 pills and Murray took no noticed? At the very least, Michael should be severally daze. Also, that two hours window is being nice. For pills to fully dissolved from the stomach, I think it takes at least 4 to 5 hours. So, Michael supposedly ate these pills around 5 or 6am. Also keep in mind that 4mg story comes exclusively from Murray and has no creditability at this point.

I agree with you.

does flannigam understand that things that you took 2 days ago can come out in your urine and NOT in your blood....the urine in a tell all for the body, The levels would be hirer in the urine.

I hate that they are making it all Michael's fault. Murray is the damn doctor who did things he should not have as a doctor. Murray is blameless. I don't think so. That's why I won't be watching when the defense have their turn.

I still believe he's a good witness, but I swear I stopped following what he says. Between the two of them, it's too much.

So 8 Lorazepam pills at 10 o'clock and then self injection at 12, that's the defense.

Flanagan went to the AR, just about to say what Soundmind posted on the other page I think.

I'm with you...uh

If Murray were telling the truth about the 2 injections?!!! He has told so many lies why believe this?

exactly 1 2mg loraz pill would of knocked him on his butt....forget about 8. They are barking up the wrong tree.

asking if you can treat insomnia with propofol...believes in general you can't, and doesn't know if refactory??? chronic insomnia can be treated with propofol...he didn't determine the degree of insomnia Michael had.
