Its always good to see Michael get recognition for his artistry and for his children to see as much as possible just how much he is loved. I think this is a really positive thing, the many tourists will see his prints too - its good for his legacy. I'm also glad that his children will be doing the prints for him and no one else. I think this would mean a lot to him.

I guess for every Michael event, the usual group of people will be invited, e.g., Smokey and Knight, who knew him when he was young. Plus, they are family friends and I maybe the family was asked who they would like to see attend. Who knows....

I think we should just be grateful the estate is organising this so we can relax knowing gene simmons or dieter weisner aren't going to be making an appearance.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, Right. Thank goodness. Anyway the family will never be able to pull off a feat like this for Michael. I hope people are looking at the difference when the Estate organizes a project compared to you know who.

Once AGAIN, I tip my hat to The Estate Of Michael Jackson.

The entire event sounds lovely. I was not expecting there to be special guests and performers. Very nice! Very classy!

I ain't gonna mention no names, BUT "some" folks can take note as to how things should be done in the name of Michael Jackson.

I really like the line-up - pretty much A-list. Just be thankful that latoya will be a no-show - branca prob has an exclusion zone set up just for her.

You beat me too it, I was thinking the same thing lol. Too bad for them thay MJ never publicly said a bad word about either of them so at the end of the day they'll both look like 2 ill informed hypocritical old men standing there with their tails between their legs posing for pictures.

Glad Chris will be there though :)

I am glad Chris is going. I was looking at the pictures thread and saw a picture of Michael and Debbie Allen so now I see her dance company will be there. I am happy this is happening for Michael but I just wish he was here to see it you know? It sounds very classy the event as it should be.

Sounds like it's gonna be an A list, classy event. I wish they'd invited Barry Gordy over Quincy or Smokey. The latter is tolerable, but Quincy is a bloody hypocrite.

By Jackson Family, who do they mean, other than the Prince, Paris, Blanket and Katherine? I don't want to see any other Jackson there.

Well obviously Katherine is gonna be there. I see Joe going, too. Jackie of course. Except Janet, La Toya and maybe Rebbie & Randy, I see a lot of Jacksons going.

Thank you to the estate for setting up such an upscale event for the greatest and by far, BEST performer that ever lived.

I love Melanie Fiona. She loves Michael. So all is good.

I think they are aiming for Katherine, Jackie , Tito and Marlon and perhaps Rebbie and some other third generation Jacksons.

I don't think Randy or Latoya or Joe will be there. It will be interesting if they attend - as they spoke against Estate before but yet showed at an Estate event.

Janet probably too high profile to attend (and if she attended her name will be mentioned). Jermaine also seems like it can go either way but I know that he's busy with his book launch in France.

Justin Bieber is a huge fan of the late Michael Jackson, so it's no surprise that the 17-year-old and would want to honor the King of Pop, but this week is different.

January 27 marks the opening of 'Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour' by Cirque du Soleil, which is inspired by the man and his music. MJ is also being honored with a hand and footprint ceremony at the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre on January 26. Will Justin attend?

"Honoring the greatest @michaeljackson this week," the pop star wrote on Monday in response to a message about the ceremony from Jackson's Twitter account. "He set the bar for all of us. #MJFOREVER."

Amber Riley and Harry Shum Jr. are set to appear at the hand and foot ceremony, which comes just before 'Glee's' Michael Jackson tribute episode, so it'll definitely be a star-studded event. So far, Justin hasn't been announced as a guest, but we could see him at the kick off of the Cirque du Soleil show in Los Angeles the next day instead. Fingers crossed, Beliebers!

You so gotta wonder why Quincy Jones would want to even be there? did someone twist his arm or something? 'cause I don't get the hypocrisy. As for family, I can only guess that Katherine, Jackie, maybe Tito and Marlon, and yes Joe (don't see him passing up this opportunity to once again inform the world that he made Michael Jackson), but for sure I don't see Jermaine,'always in a meeting' LaToya, or Miss Rhythm Nation showing up, nor Randy (probably still smarting from the whole dropped restitution thing).

Anyway, I have no doubt it all will turn out well, so to all the fans attending, have a great time.
