When I was at school in 1988, the teacher asked us to write a little story. I wrote that I went to see MJ's BAD concert in a small underground sport hall in a country that MJ never visited.

I indeed made up the story, but I didn't care, I actually wanted to share the magic that MJ was spreading. Well it wasn't appreciated by my teacher, so I got an E for it.

I just wish, the BAD 25 anniversary could have such an impact on younger generations. (not to get Es at school, but to be touched by MJ's magic that only he could create). :)

The greatest concert ever, and the one i want SO BADLY to be released:


Amazing camera shots, crowd, singing, dancing. To me this is the ultimate concert. Imagine getting this in DVD or Blu Ray quality!!

by the way apparently The Way You Make Me Feel and Man In The Mirror were also performed on the same night after Bad, does anyone know if this is true?

Awe .. that makes me so proud - I also hope the children of this generation will be as inspired by his magic.
This BAD 25 Album and any projects attached has potential to reach out to all generations ..

I read in wikipedia that the only reason the Bad Tour extended to 1989 is because michael fell ill... i think in his throat mostly and had to cancel many concerts, and ended up rescheduling them to 1989. After he recovered he had lost his voice a bit. It wasnt bad, but his voice in 1989 wasnt what it had been in the beginning of the second leg. It fully recovered by the time the Dangerous Tour started ;)

Well, the other day I asked my younger son (he's 2 years old), "wanna watch cartoons?" he answered : "no, I wanna "Beat It" " (meaning he wanted to dance Beat It on PS3), and the he sang "heal the world" spontaneously.

p.s. I am assuring you that I never influenced him. He just picked it in from dozens and dozens of non-MJ songs that he had heard on my MP3 player. My first born had the same love for the same song at the same age in the same conditions. Is there a MJ-love gene? lol :D

sorry for going off topic, but same happened with me, i showed only once beat it to my 3 year old on my ipod....and every time she saw me (which was everyday,'cuz i lived with her...) she begged me played beat it, she got all excited watching it, from beginning to end...and she never got tired....even i got tired...but she just loved it...i think there's something about mj that captures so many kids attention and admiration

What 'many concerts'? It was just four L.A. concerts which were rescheduled from 14,15,20,22 December to 16,18,26,27 January. Those are all the 'many' 89 concerts he did, just four.

Oh yes... in my fam... my little grandson is like "glued" to the screen when I watch Smooth Criminal performance.
And somewhere he must have seen breakdancing (or it is just in him) because on certain day when he saw me dance to Michael's music he started to "breakdance" and so enthousiasticly he really must have hurt himself on the wooden floor. Just like me, he loves moving to Michael's music, especially from Bad :). We will enjoy Bad 25 together !
