Wow.
First of all, I want to say this. All families are dysfunctional and the Jacksons are no different. I've got crazy folks in my family. I got my moments too, but I try my best to maintain common sense. And the kids have got it so quick. Michael did a great job raising them.
I did notice a change in Janet's personality after "The Velvet Rope." She started whispering in both ways: singing and talking. She was in her 30's at the time when the 2000s rolled around. Ageism is a beast in the entertainment industry. Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna are hot now, to name a few. During the Superbowl in 2004, Sommore said it best: Beyonce sang the National Anthem and Janet got intimidated by her, so she had Justin Timberlake to pull her breast out. It was on purpose. I don't believe it was an accident at all now. Her last albums, since "All For You" aren't that great. "20 Y.O." was the only album I've listened to without skipping. Great album. "Damita Jo" and "Discipline" only had a few good songs. However, she talked about the same thing: sex. She hasn't been that relevant for quite a while now. She did a few movies, but we all know she can't act. Only thing she did good as an actress was "Good Times" as Penny. Plus, her interviews are very predictable. In my opinion, "The Velvet Rope" was her last great album. Yes, she has lost her mind now, but she did that to herself. I will always love the old Janet Jackson though. That will never change, but the way I view Janet now will never be the same.
As for the brothers, Jackie had his moments in the past, but I still believe he's a good guy. So is Marlon, always joking around, being himself. I think he is the most sincere out of all the brothers. Tito almost lost me there, but I'm glad he got the sense knocked back into him. Jermaine and Randy are the most sorriest ones. I mean come on, these two got kids by the same woman. That's some Jerry Springer s--- right there! It just got worse now since they can't pay child support on time. So what did they do, trying to turn the Estate upside down. It didn't work. The public can see through y'all. Some can relate to that, watch "Judge Judy" or "Maury." They need to go sit down somewhere.
Oh, on a side note: Sommore is a comedian in America, but uses her wisdom to tell her stories. Pull her up on YouTube. I don't know if y'all got "Judge Judy" or "Maury" in Europe, but I do in America and it clearly says it all. Craziness!
So, with that being said, I'm going to get back to the music. "Bad 25" is coming nearby and I will not let any drama stop me from celebrating this incredible milestone.
