Re: BAD 25 Demo's unreleased, unheard Studio songs Discussion [previews added]

I'm loving them all, I agree DBMR is the weakest track but I totally disagree Al Capone is better than Smooth Criminal. I really believe Price Of Fame should had replaced Leave Me Alone because it's lyrically more meaningful and attacks more effectively to the filthy media.

Re: BAD 25 Demo's unreleased, unheard Studio songs Discussion [previews added]

I guess I'm the only one who did not hear any song. I'll hold out.... -_- :fear:

Nope, I haven't heard any yet. I won't until the 18th lol

Having said that and seen some comparisons between Price of Fame and Leave Me Alone, well the latter is one of my very faves, I adore that song and I think it's a more direct statement..more in your face so to speak and I'm sure that's what MJ wanted. I don't think any of the tracks we know and mostly love today, should've been replaced at all. I'm happy these songs are released now but I wouldn't change the way the BAD tracklist ended up. Even if it had, I think we would feel the same way we feel about these songs, had Leave me Alone or Smooth Criminal for instance been left out and were the unreleased tracks instead of POF and such. We would say "I wish this was used instead of this" so yeah, I don't like saying I'd rather have any of them instead of the other because they were left out for a reason, not that they were bad, not at all but we have to remember Michael came up with lots of good stuff and couldn't include them all. So, I'm happy the way things were released and I thank Michael for being such a genius and giving us so many awesome pieces.

"ja da da da da da" - cant get it outta my head! i LOVE this song. Im so Blue and Al Capone are definately my top two. I believe these could do well as singles, even today.

I think PoF is more of a criticism of his father/family.

Re: BAD 25 CD Live songs Wembley Stadium July 16, 1988 /Snippets [Discussion thread]

I really had to fight this but in the end I listened to it and the sound quality is AFREAKINMAZING! I loved it, only thing is those French men talking at the beginning/end kinda annoyed me lol! I can manage to listen to the Wembley live CD but I'm keeping my promise on the unreleased tracks lol. Awesome just awesome, Bad25 release might just be the best thing I've experienced since becoming an MJ supporter/fan so far. :woohoo: :woohoo:

The vocals in "BAD" are so amazing!
God, love when Michael sings live. It's incredible experience for us! :D

That's because on the 2nd leg, BAD was mimed!!!
At least it was until after the keyboard solo, after that for the ad-libs MJ took over the live vocal.

I'm listening to it right now and I'm shaking in my shoes.

This sounds insane, only got to the end of heartbreak/this place hotel, and the energy is just ridiculous in the music and vocals, who knows what i'm gonna think by the end! It's so clear he was totally on fire that night!

Re: Wembley DVD content - Discuss Michael, his concert and performances [Preview Vids]

In my opinion songs like WBSS and Human Nature are much better on the Bad Tour because Mike's vocals were so much better. Thriller was better on the Bad Tour because it was sung live. Working Day and Night was better on the Dangerous Tour. Man In The Mirror was definitely better on the Bad Tour.

I'm listening to it now. WOW! I'm having a party alone with my headphone on! This is gonna be my favorite CD now!

Re: BAD 25 CD Live songs Wembley Stadium July 16, 1988 [Discussion thread]

Bit disappointed with some of the editing on the live CD, particularly on Rock With You. The vocal work out between I'll Be There and Rock With You, and the long vocal bit at the end of Rock With You have been edited out.

Gonna have to do an audio rip of Rock With You from the DVD when I get it.

bad tour > dangerous tour. always.

Or the whole concert. I don't care for the extremely cut down edits of the cd :)

The BAD Album and BAD25 Tracks CD 1 [Discussion]

Hi Guys

this is for those who already have BAD 25

Has anyone listened to Smooth Criminal is it the original version including the breathing or one of the edits from 2001?

what about the other tracks?

cheers for the info

Re: BAD 25: What about the Original Tracks?

I doubt it the previews didnt sound like the orignal album the horns are missing from the chorus on bad but on the original they are present
