...recenlty I have been skipping some MJ songs in my playlist because I dont want to hear them and or because it hurts to listen to it with the mindset of him not being here. Am I the only MJ fan that feels this way..please share MJ family...I need hugs -_-

Yeahhhhhh, but only because I have to be in the mood for it. If I hear it when I'm not in the mood I get kinda agitated/sad. When I do want to hear him though, it's an MJ-a-thon lol. After anywhere from 3-4 hours up to a week, my MJ-a-thon is usually followed by a small scale emotional breakdown where I sit outside Forest Lawn in the middle of the day in the middle of the week and have a waterworks extravaganza lol.

Sometimes. Depends on my mood, really. He's not really prime candidate for the darker side of the human mind, which is where I mostly reside, so I really have to be in the proper mood to listen. I never skip over Morphine, though. That song is absolute genius. I always have time for that song.

Again, depends on the mood. If, for example, I'm listening to good Rock or an uptempo song and then I hear Earth Song, then I'd skip it. Same applies to if I'm listening to a Ballad before Smooth Criminal...if I'm in the mood to listen to slow songs, I'd skip that.

However, I've never skipped Who Is It :D

Me too. I've got the 5 track cd with 4 Who is it remixes and one Rock with you. I can't get enough of it.

However, I do sometimes skip MJ songs because like the others, I like to be in the right mood, and alone, with the sound turned way up.

Only "we are the world". I can't take that for nothin. Complete basket case afterward. Horrible. God MJ why?????.

yes I skip many songs, videos etc. I blocked everything when he died and I don't want to be reminded

It depends on mood and inner state, like some songs can cheer me up and some can make me burst into tears..

You hate We Are The World?

Like it's been said depends on the genre mood I'm in as to which MJ songs I skip.

No ,i love the song it just makes me so melancholy that i cant take it. Mj songs are all my faves , but sometime i like remixes to change it up or i avoid him altogether if i want r&b. He distracts my train of thought and i find myself forgetting what i was doing and dancing and singing or crying and singing. Lol i love him. Rip ,my king!!!

Well , I guess it's already been said why we skip songs and yes it's the same for me. I have to be in the right mood or right style of songs should be playing for me not to skip a song. Smile is so beautiful but I skipped it all the time up until one night and it did what I feared, I cried like a baby so I ultimately deleted it :( it's not that I don't like some songs, I just gotta feel ready to listen.

Never.I could never in a million years do it.He's still a significant part to my life, and while a piece of me may have died with him June 25th,2009,I feel like it's healing to listen to his voice to comfort me,especially in dark times.

Back when we still had him I used to always listen to him constantly. But now thanks to what that evil nameless monster did to him. It has been totally out of the question for me.:( It has been months now since I had last listen to him. All because of my deep depression over him. And the fact that I am still in a state of deep mourning over him. Any more now I prefer to listen to Bollywood music over any other kind of music. And I can't tell you just how badly I miss listening to him anymore.:( :boohoo

I took "I'll Be There" off of my MJ playlists the day after he died and haven't added it back since. I'm just not ready to listen to it again yet (although I've heard it since it was originally released).

Some songs really get me emotional and sometimes I feel like its very painful to listen to them but recently i've been listening to more and more MJ .

I always skip Childhood. I hate that song. I think Michael's voice and the melody is horrible!

Michael voice is NEVER horrible. He could sing the entire phone book and it would still sound beautiful
