[Discussion] Sexual Abuse Claims Against MJ Estate - Robson/ Safechuck/ Doe

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

I don't think he will say exact dates. He will say things which can be related to something else that happened around that time. And what if he says something happened on March 22, 1992 (which I don't think he will say, but let's suppose for a moment he will say dates)? And then it turns out on March 22 MJ wasn't there? It would be a mistake in his testimony for sure, but it wouldn't be that significant of a mistake as you think. No one can be expected to remember exact dates of things 20+ years ago (and I doubt any bodyguard would remember such things either). Like I said Wade spent enough time alone with MJ to claim that the molestations happened when they did indeed spend time together, instead of inventing new dates. The Arvizo case was different, that's why the timeline problems are different there. MJ did not spend time alone with those boys. There was only one time in about 2000 when they spent a night in his bedroom and Michael asked Frank to sleep there as well. The rest of the dates were totally invented by the Arvizos in that case as MJ never spent a night alone with them. He did spend time alone with Wade though and unfortunately Wade now uses that to claim things.

And we know about the time and places he will claim he was molested. Just read his 2005 testimony where the occasions he slept in MJ's room are discussed in detail. He does not have to do anything but to read his testimony again, take those occasions and now claim that he was molested on those occasions. And that's what he'll do, not invent new dates IMO. It's pretty clear when you compare his 2005 testimony to his new claims. He claims now that he was molested between the age of 7 and 14. He said in 2005 that he spent the first night in MJ's room when he was 7 and the last time was when he was 14. That's why he claims now he was molested between 7 and 14. He basically claims that on every occasion between the age of 7 and 14 when he was alone with MJ MJ molested him. He is overdoing it a lot and it's amazing to me that these people do not seem to care about building some kind of consistency in what kind of pedophile MJ supposedly was. I mean when you read the Chandlers' story, they claim MJ slowly built it up, gradually making small steps towards molestation. Now Wade claims the first or second night he started to molest him right away. There was no grooming, no build-up process, nothing, just in medias res. MJ must have been the most inconsistent, pattern-less, unmethodical child molester ever...

Wade is too greedy and he claims he was molested from the first day until he was 14 on each and every occasion he was alone with MJ because that's how he wants to maximize his "damages" and the puntitive sum he can ask for. He's overdoing it out of greed. (And he's trying to maximize the compensative sum as well, by saying he was on his way to become an international superstar if not for the molestation.)

Also that first or second night he claims was first molested his sister slept in the room as well, only on the other floor. Back in 2005 she never claimed to have witnessed or heard or suspect anything, so it will be interesting to see if she'll change her story now to support Wade and if she'll claim now that she heard things or something. In case she does we will know that his family is with him in it together, not just getting fooled by him. With that they'd risk Chantal's credibility too, though, because that would make her a liar on the stand as well (she either lied in 2005 or she would be lying now).

IMO the whole family Mother included is in on it. It was no accident that she went back to home right before Wade filed his claim. Here is what I am interested in. He says people in Michael’s company did not protect him. Is he going to say they knew Michael was molesting him or that Michael had been molesting kids and did nothing to stop it? I don’t understand how else he can say they did nothing to protect him, especially when he kept saying Michael never touched him. He will never be able to escape his 20 years of denial no matter how he polishes his story

Yes, he seems to claim not only that Michael molested him but also that people in his companies, including Branca and Weitzman knew about the molestations and knowingly enabled it. So he isn't only accusing Michael of criminal behaviour but also others - conveniently those who are in charge of Michael's multi-million dollar Estate. The irony is that he claims this but he does not talk about the responsibility his own mother. If Branca and Co. are enablers then his own mother is the biggest enabler of them all! Isn't it his mother who should have protected him before he expects strangers to protect him? His mother knew about the sleepovers and allowed them. Why isn't he mad at her? Well, I guess we all know the answer.

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

one really has to wonder why he did not "tell his truth" in 1993, and during the 05 trial (seeing that he knew all along, - or has he changed history again?) He had THE opportunity back then to send "the monster" to jail for life. Doesn't that kinda make him culpable for what allegedly happened to Gavin? Can Gavin sue his ass, should he be successful with his lawsuit?

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

Does Wade expect folks to forget his 2005 court room testimony? and does he also expect folks to not know about his 20 years of defending MJ in court, out of court, before, during and even after MJ's death? He also claims that he always knew what MJ did to him right, but he had no idea it was 'wrong' even though he's been interviewed about it since 1993 and testified at 22 years old in a courtroom? This makes no sense. Wade has really lost his mind or he's just extremely arrogant and evil.

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

Wade Robson
You Waited WAY Too Long
To Accuse MJ of Molestation

Famed choreographer Wade Robson is full of BS when he says he waited years to file a molestation claim against the Michael Jackson Estate on grounds of repressed memory ... so says the Estate's lawyer who wants the case thrown out.

Robson has filed a claim with the Estate asking for $$$ based on his sexual abuse claim, but Estate lawyer Howard Weitzman has fired back in legal docs ... the fat lady sung on Wade 4 years ago.

Weitzman says in order to pursue a claim Wade should have filed his case within 60 days of learning MJ's Estate was in probate court ... and pretty much everyone knew that because it made news around the world.

Weitzman actually got Robson to admit in a deposition he KNEW about the guardianship dispute involving Michael's kids back in 2009 ... so his claim of ignorance just doesn't hold water.

Robson claims he delayed in filing his claim because of repressed memory.

A judge has yet to rule on Robson's right to press a claim.

As we reported, Robson first went on the offensive last year, claiming MJ "performed sexual acts on me and forced me to perform sexual acts on him" from the age of 7 ... until Robson was 14.

Wade had previously denied MJ molested him during the singer's 2005 molestation trial, but says the old testimony was a lie ... and that Michael had engaged in a campaign of manipulation to keep him silent.

Robson is demanding money from the Jackson estate as compensation for the alleged abuse.

Roberson never said his memories were repressed, HARVEY

Initially when his lawyer was talking to Harvey/TMZ Harvey claimed he was told it was a case of repressed memory.. Wade told Matt Lauer his memory wasn't repressed and that he remembered everything that MJ did to him, it was just he didn't know it was wrong:bugeyed

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

I know one thing Wade is a major liar.. Didn't he say he didn't know there was an estate in 2012? well Weitzmann got him to admit that he was well aware of it because it was worldwide news

Weitzman actually got Robson to admit in a deposition he KNEW about the guardianship dispute involving Michael's kids back in 2009 ... so his claim of ignorance just doesn't hold water.

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

^^But if this is true, it is good news that there has been a deposition done on Wade. I wonder what the questions were like. The estate is going full speed ahead then and this is good. In the same way he was led to show he was lying by the questions asked, is the same way the cross is going to trip him up. These arrogant people like Wade never think about cross examination. With a skillful lawyer cross is a killer if you are not telling the truth. Wade forgot that there are different ways to question someone to get at the answer to Another question.

Jaydom initially it was TMZ who said "repressed." I think if I recall the article said something like "it seems they are going with repressed memory." We do not even know if Wade's lawyer told them that.

Michael Jackson Estate: Molestation Accuser Wade Robson Shouldn’t Be Allowed To Pursue Claim
Posted on Feb 18, 2014 @ 15:49PM | By Jen Heger - Assistant Managing Editor

Michael Jackson Nicknamed Alleged Molestation Victim 'Little One'

The Estate of Michael Jackson is asking a Los Angeles judge to reject Wade Robson‘s molestation claim against the late singer because he supposedly waited too long to file.

Robson, a dancer-choreographer who testified on behalf of Jackson in the singer’s 2005 sex abuse trial, has claimed Jackson allegedly made his move on him he was just seven years of age — as his sister slept in another bed just feet away at Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif.

As part of his creditor’s claim against the estate, Robson, now 30, told how the King of Pop made his first sexual advances on the young child prodigy in the star’s bedroom in 1990. The abuse allegedly continued unabated for another two weeks and from then on, for a period of seven years, he has said in court documents.

Robson is claiming that he should have been served a notice of the administration of the estate when Jackson died more than four years ago.

He also claims to have only remembered about the molestation after having two “breakdowns” which resulted in him seeking therapy.

But the estate’s lawyers are arguing that they could not have possibly anticipated Robson’s lawsuit.

In support of that, the estate’s high-powered Hollywood lawyer, Howard Weitzman, cited a recent deposition during which Robson admitted that he was “aware that John Branca and John McClain were co-Executors of Michael’s estate and understood they were running the Estate’s ‘entertainment business’.”

The estate also said Robson was contacted by Cirque du Soleil to work on a Michael Jackson themed show, Immortal, in 2011. The Estate was producing the show with Cirque and Robson “wanted to do this MJ show badly,’” the court documents revealed.

What’s more, even if the judge was to allow the claim to proceed, Weitzman said it’s an undo burden to the beneficiaries, his three children, Prince Michael, Paris, Blanket and their grandmother Katherine Jackson.

“There is nothing equitable about forcing the beneficiaries to defend the stale claims of criminal conduct, concerning events that allegedly happened years ago,” lawyers argued in a = motion.

“The beneficiaries did nothing to Robson. And the beneficiaries have no ability to reasonably defend the merits of the claims. They were not even alive when the alleged events occurred. Yet Robson, would have them attempt to defend their interests in property with both hands tied behind their back, without the ability to consult with any other witness to the alleged events, a witness who has been dead for five years.”

A hearing has been scheduled for May to determine if Robson’s claim against the estate can proceed.

I don't know if this was posted before but here's the link for Wade's redacted declaration from when the complaint first filed - http://amradaronline.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/wade-robson354b0046b.pdf

Hahaha, that's great! Something the whole damn world knew after MJ DIED....so it's very STUPID of Wade to act like he had no clue and that they should have informed him, as if they knew his crazy self would accuse MJ of this B.S!

The estate also said Robson was contacted by Cirque du Soleil to work on a Michael Jackson themed show, Immortal, in 2011. The Estate was producing the show with Cirque and Robson “wanted to do this MJ show badly,’” the court documents revealed.
Another HUGE thing here that Wade can't escape and that the public should be aware of OVER AND OVER AGAIN! He didn't get to do the show and the fact that the Estate mentions this could be the reason why Wade is goin after them, easy way to make money since so many believe the other allegations and the Chandlers banked on it yrs ago! SMH

Yes. And Wade could claim that he lied from being manipulated if he was a child in 2005. But Wade was a fully grown adult. I think he knew full well what he was doing when he got up on that stand and defended Michael. And he did so under hard, no-nonsense questioning from the prosecution. There is no excuse for him to say that he didn't remember especially since he has said that he "never forgot". In my opinion, he's talking out of both sides of his mouth, telling people about how he "never forgot" and also about his "repressed memory" depending on who he's talking to. That should prove right there that something isn't right about this mess. Not to mention that he has reportedly admitted to knowing that there was an Estate when he had previously claimed he didn't know. If he lied about that, then what else is he lying about? This is pathetic and disgusting.

Wade denied that his claim was repressed memory on Today Show, but TMZ might be still calling it repressed memory because the "insight oriented therapy" that Wade is talking about in his lawsuit is very similar to repressed memory therapy.

What he claims is basically that he knew he was molested all along it just did not occur to him for 20 years (including the 2005 trial) that it was sexual abuse and that he was not a consenting party and a willing participant. So at the age of 22, as a grown ass man, while MJ is on trial for child abuse allegations, it just did not occur to him that what he now claims happened to him must have been somehow wrong and sexual molestation... That's what he claims. But now that he demands lots of money all of a sudden he's enlightened about it being wrong. He wasn't in 1993 or even in 2005, when he was already an adult, but he is now when his claim is linked to a monetary demand. Alright.

But the bottom line is that it seems Wade had a deposition already in which he had to admit that he knew about the Estate despite of him claiming otherwise in his lawsuit. In other words he's already caught in a lie. I'm glad even TMZ can see the BS in his claim that he did not know about the Estate before March, 2013. Besides what mentioned in the articles Wade's own long time lawyer Helen Yu talks about the Estate in this article in 2009:

November 25, 2009
Musical Artists: Worth More Dead Than Alive? Michael Jackson and Elvis Generate Millions for Their Estates

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 24, 2009) With the passing of pop’s biggest idols comes an unprecedented outpouring of emotion. Soon after, it becomes apparent that the money lives on. In the cases with music’s biggest icons, the revenues generated post-mortem signify lucrative paydays for their estates.

“Often times the estates will become booming enterprises because the artist is no longer in charge,” says Los Angeles entertainment attorney Helen Yu. “Elvis is a clear example: he was an amazing artist and performer, but he ran amuck financially during his life and was too generous with others when he should not have been. It wasn’t until after he died that Priscilla Presley and her advisors created an estate that would go on to earn millions of dollars.” According to the Forbes Annual Top Earning Dead Celebrities, the Presley estate is worth in excess of $55 million dollars.

Michael Jackson has reportedly made $90 million dollars since his death in June 2009, and most of that money is from AEG, the company behind his movie This Is It. Jackson was reportedly in catastrophic debt before his death.

Since Michael Jackson’s death, the world can now see the true light of Michael’s legacy. Posthumous homages have been done by Helen Yu-represented Michael Jackson protégé Wade Robson and his friend Charles Klapow. Robson, the Emmy-winning choreographer/director who as a young dancer appeared in Jackson’s “Black or White,” “Jam” and “Heal the World” videos, has since become the creator of the MTV show, The Wade Robson Project, as well as the choreographer for an American Idol tour and artists like Usher and Pink. He recently choreographed Cirque du Soleil/Criss Angel’s Believe at the Las Vegas Luxor. Robson honored Jackson as a performer at this year’s the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA’s) and on the recent So You Think You Can Dance. Helen says, “I’ve known Wade Robson and Charles Klapow since they were both little kids. They have both been disciples of Michael all their lives, and it’s great to see them honoring him in this way.” Yu is also associated with Charles Klapow, an Emmy-Winning choreographer known for his contributions to the High School Musical franchise, and one of the dancers for the Michael Jackson tour featured in the film This Is It, as well as Jennifer Hudson’s performance at the Michael Jackson memorial service held at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Yu observes the economic reality of a famous artist’s estate involves “finding commercial avenues for the assets they already have and building on what already exists. Graceland was upside down and they turned it into a museum that is the most popular element of the company. Michael Jackson has the film, and they may also eventually create a museum.”

Yu, who once attended a pre-auction viewing of the possessions of the still living King of Pop, notes the unprecedented earning power of the now deceased Jackson. “He was certainly an amazing songwriter, performer and dancer, but he sometimes let the wrong people in. Now that his estate’s advisors are John Branca and John McClain, music industry veterans who know how to monetize the business, unfortunately, he will most likely earn more dead than alive.”

http://yuleseberg.com/news/worthmoredeadthanalive.php

In his declaration he writes:

"On March, 2013, I met with my lawyers Gradstein & Marzano for the first time and was made aware of the fact that I could possibly file a claim against Doe 1's Estate. Prior to March 4, I did not understand or was even aware that an Estate had been opened for administration or that I could seek to make a claim."

And of course the administration of the Estate was world wide news.

I would love to read the whole deposition from Wade. I'm sure there are more holes in it than the ones mentioned in those articles.

So the estate is looking for summary judgement 1st May, but wasn't there some hearing scheduled 6th June?

I agree. When Wade had enough sense to give straight-forward answers of "no" to the abuse questions in court, he obviously knew what the prosecution meant by asking those questions. He knew that abuse was something horrible. Wade is not stupid. An adult witness can't give answers as well as Wade did on that stand in 2005 and not have a good amount of knowledge regarding the basic meanings of questions. So Wade's excuse of being ignorant of everything now is just epic pathetic.

I don't know if this was posted before but here's the link for Wade's redacted declaration from when the complaint first filed - http://amradaronline.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/wade-robson354b0046b.pdf

I don't think it was published before. It's essentially the same claims his lawyer makes in their lawsuit, but it's Wade's declaration in his own words. There are slight differences - the lawsuit is actually a bit more detailed in most places - but essentially they are the same.

From the declaration:

"In 2005, Doe 1 was criminally tried for child sexual abuse. I was again subpoenaed to testify. Doe 1 called me constantly and coached me by acting out similar role play as he did with me in 1993 when I was 11, telling me things such as "They are making up all these lies about you and I, saying that we did all this disgusting sexual stuff. They are just trying to take US down, take away my power and my money, take away our careers. We can't let them do this. We have to fight them together." I would play along just as I did when I was 11. I still dud not believe that I was sexually abused. I did not believe that I was forced. I believed that I was a consenting participant in the sexual acts that Doe 1 and I engaged in. I also believed I was absolutely fine with what went on between us. My state of mind was essentially the same as wehen I was eleven and I denied any abuse." (page 5)

I know we talked about this before but it still does not make sense to me that MJ would call it "disgusting sexual stuff" if he was a molester who thought it was an expression of love. And how did it not sound strange to Wade (esp. at the age of 22) that his alleged molester would call what Wade allegedly was brainwashed to believe was "love" a "disgusting sexual stuff"? And how at the age of 22 could he have believed he was fine with it and he was a consenting participant when his alleged abuser was on CRIMINAL trial for alleged similar offenses?

"In November 2010 my first son was born. Shortly after that, I got the job to direct my first major studio feature film. Doe 1's prophecy was coming true, now I just had to fulfill my end of the bargain, I thought." (page 5)

"Had it not been for the sexual abuse I suffered as a child, my emotional breakdowns as a result and my subsequent inability to return to the life that Doe 1 "prophesized" I would have, I believe my career would have continued on this upward trajectory." (page 7)

It really seems to me he made this crap up about child sexual abuse to excuse his failure to live up to the career Michael "prophecized" to him and to blame it on Michael instead of accepting that he does not have the level of talent Michael thought and "prophecized" he would have.

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

Personally, I think this is yet another time that Michael is made to be a scapegoat for somebody else's failure. I would be rich if I had a dollar for every time somebody talked about him like that.

Yes, he was asked very specific questions about whether MJ did this or did that or touched him or whether they showered together etc. So if he did not think it was abuse and he was consent and he was fine with it then why did not answer: "yeah, we showevered together nude, but I was consent I don't think that's wrong" or "yeah, he did this and that to me in bed, but I was fine with it, there's nothing wrong with that". But that's not what he said, he firmly denied anything like that ever happened to him.

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

If the judge allows him to go on with this lawsuit then he is setting a precedent. When it comes to MJ , no judge really gave a damn about his constitutional rights, so I won't be surprised if this judge continues with the same pattern of abuse toward him.

^^^^ I agree, and it's ripe he should make that statement when, without Michael, he probably wouldn't have had the opportunity of that career at all.

I agree something like yeah we took a shower together but it was not what you are trying to make it. If Wade is saying he thought it was OK the next question I have is how were you able to then go and date women and have a wife and son? Have heterosexual relationships

Damn, I want to read those documents. It says that the estate and WR were producing the show together, so what went wrong? I suppose the estate is holding back some info and they hit hard on Wade later on (hopefully).

No, actually it says The Estate was producing the show with Cirque and Robson “wanted to do this MJ show badly,’”

So in other words, they not only established he lied about not knowing there was an estate and executors but they also provided a strong motive for his claims.

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

Thanks Soundmind.
Somehow my eyes missed and part of the sentence, and I thought he was already involved with Cirque but something happened that he got booted out. Anyways, hopefully details of how much Wade wanted to be involved with Cirque will be made public, as it shows his motive for payback to the estate or someone else (Jamie King?).

Ps, if Weitzman has Wade sorted out and the case gets booted out, Wade is going to make money through tabloids stories and tv interviews.

Michael allegedly molested Robson for years, however he wanted to be involved so badly in projects related to the person who harmed him... Since the praising over decades and the attempt to be involved in The Cirque Du Soleil shows, the judge should see the holes, seriously!

Re: [Discussion] Wade Robson files claim of sexual abuse against MJ-Estate

when it comes to child molestation any scenario, regardless of how bizarre it is , would be explained as "typical victim behaviour" so don't expect much from the judge.
