Just two weeks ago I did not know what the next album could ever be.
I was wondering when but the most important question was – what attitude, with how much care is it going to be?! There was no any other more important question for me!!!
Now I have the answers… And the idea to invite some Fans from all around the world to the listening event and to ask for their opinion and for some help in "promotion", it was GREAT idea!!! Their reviews mean much more to me than reviews from journalists or critics or anyone else.
Thanks to them I can now just relax and be happy waiting for the release. I do not have to worry…
Just as much as I trusted Michael, now I put that much trust into MJFam. And that is how Michael’s legacy should go on. I’m very grateful that the Estate did the listening event for the fans.

The way mood of this thread goes up and down made me think of
seven stages of grief:
- Shock or Disbelief
- Denial
- Anger
- Bargaining
- Guilt
- Depression
- Acceptance and Hope
That goes with us too waiting for this album to drop.
We are now entered bargaining stage, ready to give up something in order to get something now

Just checked amazon germany.
And there is Xscape now listed for release on 9th of may.
Typically new albums often get released on a friday here in germany.
With MICHAEL album it was the same, a friday & 3/4 days earlier as in the uk/us...
Also checked Media Markt & Saturn (2 biggest electronic markets/sellers in germany).
Both list the release of Xscape for 05/09/14.
Just checked amazon germany.
And there is Xscape now listed for release on 9th of may.

Yup, New Zealand gets it on the 9th of May as well. We got Bad 25 a few days after USA and UK though.

To me, there is everything else but silence. I don't know on which planet you all are, but on planet earth there were listening sessions in London, Paris, Munich & New York City, which were all followed by media exposure & positive reviews by journalists. Then there was a listening session in LA with fan clubs joining from all over the world, again followed by wonderful reviews, postings & blogs from said fan club members.
To me silence is something different...
Just because YOU don't get what YOU expect at the time YOU expect, to the extent YOU expect don't spin the facts.
Enough with the I want this, i want that, i want more, i want it now, i want it in another way. It feels like bad behaving children sometimes in here.

Announcement wise there's nothing since 31/03/14. Do you really consider those listening parties, reviews, etc. as official statements?

Listening parties aren't official statements. They're being used as hype.
This is honestly the perfect way to promote this album. They're getting the knowledge out and having events to play the album for critics and fans, who have all mostly come back with majorly enthusiastic reviews. This is all before a track listing is even confirmed.
I'm pleased beyond belief.

No, of course they're no official statements.
But do you need a statement, when much better things are going on?
Which statements should be given? Every week a new one?
They will make a statement when they think the time is right for a new statement.
Full tracklist & more details on the songs will follow. We must let them decide when the time is, because they are in charge!

Don't know how reliable this site is. But from what the fan club members brought to the table from the session in LA, it's pretty safe to say that this is the track list...
And it's a great track list, IMO.
I know six of the songs & from the state i know them, 5 of them are hit's. By the reviews even the 6th song, LNFSG is a hit. Chicago seems to be THE hit.
So we have an album full of KILLER tracks.
I can't wait till i blast it in full through my house & my car...

There're some tabloids out there whose reviews are nonsense. e.g. DYKWYCA is falsely linked with the 1993 case. A non fan could be easily fooled by these kind of misinformation. And if there's no official information to check for its confirmation or denial, he/she might think the song is about little boys:doh:

Ive heard NOTHING about this released until I looked it up. It's kind of sad actually, this is not like the ''Michael'' at all. They need more promotion world wide.

Its frustrating to wait yes, but also quite exciting! How you can all judge Sony and the Estate before they have even begun is beyond belief!
