I am not sure that ad is authentic. Only one picture from one person of the ad in all of New York, U.S. I believe Michael would have more fans than that in that area. Promotion has been the GMA announcement, press articles on the announcement, listening party reviews and fan focus group reviews.

Yes and it looks to be the same person who took the picture although I am unsure if they are one and the same.
One picture and one video seems strange to me for all of New York, U.S. when there are several pictures of the Invincible ad. My friend confirmed to me the billboard of the Bad cd cover during the Bad25 promotion was not real.

just for FYI - the person that took the NY Times Square ad is mkgenie - a member here. Also that's not a fixed ad. That's a video screen that's alternating among different Sony products. So you have to be there at the right time to see it.

Respect77, three pictures taken from three angles by the same person and the ad has the exact same lighting no matter where it is viewed. It is not logical only one person has saw this ad. Michael has many more New York, U.S. fans.
It seems the Xscape ad is not a motion ad; simply a still picture of the cd cover based on the still pictures and the video. The ad should include Michael's name and the sale date because it has no meaning to others who are not aware and are being targeted for the cd sale(s). I do appreciate the link. Has anyone seen it yet?

mkgenie has always been a very reliable source of info here on the forum. If he took these pictures, I don't see a reason to doubt their authenticity.

I was talking about the authenticity of the pictures. The only reason I wrote that about mkgenie is because I thought you might not have known about his proven track record. I thought knowing that might make you feel more confident that the photos are authentic (and that the ad is thus shown in Times Square). Again, I was just trying to help.

So it's not just a matter of walking to Times Square and seeing the ad there. You need to be there at the right time and/or you might need to wait a significant/certain amount of time to see it ( we don't know how often they show it). That explains why we haven't seen other pictures of it. There could be thousands of Michael Jackson fans in New York but not many would spend hours at Times Square to try to catch an advertisement.
