I just noticed some of the Tags for this thread:

Does anyone have the gif of MJ during the PTL interview where Lisa is talking, and MJ is sitting there smiling, and he is squeezing something at his thigh, which looks like he's squeezing Mike Jr.? I've watched that interview 100 x and I never noticed that before until someone posted this gif somewhere, I saved it, but I can't find it on any of my computers. I first saw it a few years ago.

Okay.... I've trying to figure this out forever. Does anybody know why Michael's pants are unzipped during the Panther Dance?

Anyway, saw this clip on YouTube which I had never seen before. Figured I would share :)

You can watch what he does just preceding the zipper scene at 2:43 here. What message is he trying to convey?

Michael explained it at the time in a press release that the whole video was to show "wild and animalistic behavior". But there were many more messages in that video too.

He stirred up a hornet's nest with that video. Ha!

I get the overall message he was sending- but the whole zipper thing was done on purpose. I doubt he would have kept it in the final cut if it was only an accident. He was definitely trying to "send a message"... but a message about what?
