Not to acknowledge the depth of his physical and psychological pain and problems at the time is totally insensitive, cold and heartless even from a business associate, let alone someone who claims to be his lover of many years. For a lover his health and well-being would be #1 priority rather than a damn show. Shana is totally looking at it from the position where she was - a nobody secretary in Sandy Gallin's office and parrotting the sentiments she probably heard from her boss, Sandy at the time. To worry about the shows is a manager's perspective, not a worrying lover's. Shana once again gives herself away here.

Shana Mangatal Jennifer Fitzgerald...Bob was extremely loyal to MJ for decades. He got upset when he was let go after decades of loyal service without any severance pay or retirement. From what I remember, he caved in at the trial when he saw Michael and didn't say anything bad about him. The book was obviously written by Stacey and not Bob, who passed away not too long after that. He did so much for MJ over the years that people don't know about.
Andrew McDann He was fired after Michael learned that Jones teamed up with Stacy Brown to write a book about him. Jones did it for money. How is that loyal? He was just another backstabber.
Do you realize that Jones participated in a sleazy documentary where he clearly suggested Michael molested Jordan? He was talking about Monaco and Michael and Jordan were in that hotel room with the flu and Michael asked him to call for a doctor. He didn't realize how ridiculous the story was since why would Michael call for a doctor if they didn't in fact have the flu and if they had the flu what are the chances that Michael would want sex while having the flu? Ellen Wijns I finished reading your book last week and i loved every part!! In the beginning all i could think of was how lucky you were being able to see and do the things you did, meet the people you have met, spend time and conversation with The One and only. But afterwards i felt sorry for the heardache he caused you. I still do not understand why he did not marry you... He should have!

Andrew McDann What makes you think they belong to the Estate? You own those papers, don't you? Notes and lyrics Michael himself wrote do not belong to the Estate. They are all over the net. You could convince those sceptics if you posted those documents.

LOL @ her excuses as to why she doesn't show more material. Just ridiculous. No one has ever been chased by the Estate for posting MJ lyrics. They aren't even handwritten notes by MJ acc. to her story. Just her own notes of MJ supposedly telling her lyrics over the phone. And she obviously doesn't have anything substantial that would really prove a relationship. All she posts on FB are things like the soap she took from Neverland, something that fan would take and keep as a memory not a lover.

I suppose it's possible, and it sounds like something that Bob Jones would do-BUT not at that time. When Frank Sinatra first starting going out, they paid for girls to faint and scream-same with the Beatles. Until finally girls just started doing that spontaneously. But by 1989, nobody would have had to be paid to stand outside his hospital-and if so, she would have put that antidote in her book.

I don't know what to think of Bob Jones-apparently he was a great publicist and did a great job for both Motown and Michael for many years-and then went off the rails. I know he disassociated himself with the Stacey Brown book in the trial, but I saw that little doc he did where it was full of filthy innuendo. Don't know why he did that, unless they paid him REALLY WELL and this was the time he desperately needed money.

Heck, her own book is a tesatament to her stalker fan tendencies. I mean her plotting with Norma Staikos and others to get her together with MJ. Her taking memorabilia from Neverland. Her trying to insert herself into jobs and situations where she could be near MJ. IF she was indeed the roommate of Bob Jones' friend I doubt that was a coincidence either. She was always looking for ways to be near MJ through people that were somewhat in his circle. Yet we are supposed to believe that she had to be asked and paid to be there in front of that hospital? LOL, okay. I think the story is to cover up her obvious past as a stalker fan, although she doesn't realize that a stalker fan is exactly what she comes accross as all through her book, regardless of this story. LOL.

Looks like Grace was Shana before Shana was Shana :doh:. From what I've seen over the years, all the women that were closely involved with Michael were in love with him. That love manifested differently with each woman. Some were more calculating about getting themselves into a position where Michael might fall in love with them.

Michael is not the innocent lamb here either. Flirting with women that feel much stronger feelings for you than he may have had for them, and him knowing their strong feelings, was NOT a good idea on his part. Karen Faye (imo) was in love with him even though she outwardly maintained a friendship with him through her work, Ola Ray was in love with him, Tatiana was in love with him, Grace was too, Shana was too, etc. That wasn't just by accident, or they were "all crazy" lol. There's a pattern...

I'm willing to believe Shana and Michael may have entertained an undefined "thing" over the years, it's possible they even had sex. Honestly none of us can definitely say one way or another. But I also get a strong feeling that it was more one-sided than Shana is trying to let on. There's a lot of embellishment of small encounters that when, you step back to really evaluate the situation, are blown up to be bigger than they actually were. If the had sex, maybe that's all it was in Michael's head? Not some grand 20 year long epic love story. But she was cute, receptive and willing and he indulged her; not for her sake but his own. Or she made it all up lol. She does seem to have a habit of putting herself in the center of situations that realistically she shouldn't have been/probably wasn't the center of.


One thing we should all remember and keep at the front of our mind's: Michael was human lol. A multifaceted man that did not show all of his sides to everyone all of the time. There are things that Michael may have done or said, that fans may not agree with, but weren't meant for fan's consumption to begin with. All of the "Michael wouldn't do this or that" talk is of no good, cuz none of us can say that for certain.

The things in Shana's book COULD have truly occurred, but I'm doubtful of much of it. Not cuz of what is claimed to have happened but rather how Shana tells the story. Too many instances of self-glorification, too much overly-romanticizing trivial events, too much of her trying to insert herself at the center of Michael's world; cuz that's not where she was, but that's where she wanted to be...
