Hi Gaz, I’m wondering if you can shed some light for me. I use a MacBook to access the forum and also my iPhone both on safari. Since yesterday while on WiFi I’ve not been able to access the forum, I keep getting a message that the server cannot be found. I can access the forum through my phone on 4G but as soon as I connect to the wifi it becomes unavailable again. My provider is virgin media. It’s so frustrating as I much prefer to moderate on the Mac. Do you know what could be causing this? Logic says it’s something to with virgin media but I can access every other site I’ve tried, it’s literally just MJJC. I’ve tried using chrome on tha Mac too to see if it’s something to do with safari but no joy.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Never mind this seems to have resolved itself today!
 
Hahaaa, yeah, I'm in the process of moving server, but my new server supplier wrongly updated to nameservers to where MJJC sits instead of the news one's I will be migrating the site to, thus it went off for a period of up to 24 hours due to propagating across the net.
 
Hi, Gaz......a member by the name of Lisha says that she can't see who is giving her Reputation points in her settings. She can see Reps that she has given, but not what she has received. It's an odd problem....I don't know why that would be the case with her and no one else?? Any way, I told her that I would ask you to check it out. I tried to look, but I can't see her settings.
 
Hi, Gaz, there is a new member by the name of Luis Camacho, who has made ten posts now, but says that he cannot get into 2000 Watts. Can you check that out, please and see what's going on, because I think everyone is supposed to be able to access that section now, regardless of their status, right? It's not based on donations any more, is it?
 
I've looked into his account and tbh feck knows, he is in the proud member group like many thousands of others who have access and are visiting/posting in it, personally I think he was probably pm'm in the inbetween bit to when he hits 10 post and then gets upgraded group wise.

Hi Gaz........would it be possible to change the colour for our staff username from the pink that it is, currently, to maybe blue? Like this: Mikky Dee I love the beautiful green being used for the patrons' usernames and that colour seems to stand out more than ours, now. Their "Who's Bad" avatar is incredible, too. Really great. :D
 
Yeah, the badge is great and the green is lovely.

It makes me yearn for a mini-makeover of ours. Hence the hint to Gaz. Hahaha!

Plus then we'd have all four of the main colours - red (for Gaz), blue (for us), green (for the patrons) and gold (for the proud members).

I guess it would be better to have a stronger colour for staff. It wouldn't go well with the badge though, unless Gaz changes the colour of the 'Staff' strip at the bottom.

Definitely need a stronger colour, like blue. I was thinking of a badge change to match- maybe Smooth Criminal or Blue Gangsta.

Gaz, do you monitor the Chat Room? I just reported an image that's in there, which needs to be removed. I can't seem to remove it myself.

It's a nude rear end of a woman, but we can see way more than just her butt cheeks.
 
Loving the blue user name. Thanks, Gaz! Just need a new Staff badge/image now, so that it matches (something blue/black, etc.)

Guys... I'll look into the badges see what designs are available, members can't be yellow on a white background as it will be hard to read.

Regarding the chat to moderate it can you please do the following.

Go to - https://minnit.chat/

Login using

Username - MJJCommunity
Password - mjjc33557799

Then go back to the chat refresh and you will be signed in as MJJC and admin of the chat so you can delete/ban etc.

Good to see the chat is finally being used, perhaps a little more promotion to get more over there.
