They also have the same themeOh yeah melodically I don’t think they’re all that similar. It’s no You Can’t Win/Can’t Get Outta The Rain situation. But I can definitely hear they’re cut from the same cloth.
DefinitelyThey also have the same theme
Oh yeah, everyone was jamming in the studio to that,I wonder if we could find that full mixNeed to hear that funky af mix they were playing in the leaked footage in HQ
Yeah I like that mix way more than the TUC version.Need to hear that funky af mix they were playing in the leaked footage in HQ
It makes me wonder why they decided to release a downgraded version, a more complete version of In The Back exists tooYeah I like that mix way more than the TUC version.
Oh, those are monkeys? I thought that LaToya and Jermaine sung background vocals...
Oh well, not. This song has kind of interesting lyrics.
puts me in the mind of SS alsoDo you not think this sounds too similar to Superfly Sister?
What did he mean by that.Oh, those are monkeys? I thought that LaToya and Jermaine sung background vocals...
Latoya and Jermaine ain't got no talent and the backstabbers of the family lolWhat did he mean by that.
Stop disrespecting CLHGA.Always loved this song! Funky and soulful as all out, feel it should’ve been on an album at some point. Could’ve fit on Dangerous I feel, get rid of CLHGA (that song was mediocre as f***) and replace it with this masterpiece! The production is next level too
I’m sorry man lol it’s got a fun rhythm to beatbox to, not a bad song by any means but songs like this are why Michael needed someone like Quincy to tell him “No”. Quincy kept Michael in check and usually picked the best songs. He would’ve vetoed this and at least one other song on Dangerous and he definitely would’ve had a field day with HIStory.. Jesus man I can think of at least 6 songs on there that would need to go bye byeStop disrespecting CLHGA.
CLHGA could easily be a single. I don't know why people feel this way. It emphasizes the "Dangerous" tone too. Front loading the first half of Dangerous is the most Quincy thing MJ did post Bad If anything. It and Off The Wall both take you straight to the party.I’m sorry man lol it’s got a fun rhythm to beatbox to, not a bad song by any means but songs like this are why Michael needed someone like Quincy to tell him “No”. But Michael Jackson called his former producer Quincy Jones to the studio because he wanted some sort of approval from him before releasing his 'Dangerous' album.I’m sorry man lol it’s got a fun rhythm to beatbox to, not a bad song by any means but songs like this are why Michael needed someone like Quincy to tell him “No”. I forgot this story. It's totally true actually. But Michael Jackson called his former producer Quincy Jones to the studio because he wanted some sort of approval from him before releasing his 'Dangerous' album.
Quincy Jones came, he listened to the final version of it (from start to finish), he liked it, he then approached Michael Jackson, and he hugged the singer so tightly that he almost broke Michael Jackson's bones.
Then, Michael Jackson more confident than ever before gave the green light to that release.
Keyboardist Brad Buxer confirmed this story, as well.
