In this video he is on the drugs again... So I'm sure he is lying again. You can see apathy on his face. He was just too polite to tell the truth...MJ about the performance of YRMW in 2001.

He seems not, or barely, on drugs here compared to the shows.. And what truth should he have told exactly..?In this video he is on the drugs again... So I'm sure he is lying again. You can see apathy on his face. He was just too polite to tell the truth...
I mean he obviously was exhausted during MGS. He wasn't happy... When I look at Michael at these pics, I want to cry... He didn't deserve all that pain he suffered. Still he acted like everything is okay, but you can see that he wasn't okay. So telling that it was fun wasn't truthHe seems not, or barely, on drugs here compared to the shows.. Michael was locked into complicated family politics and record label politics at this time. The album and era didn‘t pan out the way he had hoped. He was treated horribly during the making of Rock My World as well. Perhaps he was simply doing the best he could to get through things. He was definitely despondent around this time and in low spirits compared to other eras.I mean he obviously was exhausted during MGS. He wasn't happy... I think everything he did with Dr. Freeze was actually top notch. That was certainly a great collaboration session. The album has some really good songs that don’t get the recognition that songs from his previous albums get, and that is a huge shame.
I love Break of Dawn, A Place With No Name and Blue Gangsta.I think everything he did with Dr. Freeze was actually top notch. That was certainly a great collaboration session.

Deceitful eyes, she's got those come get me thighs She only knows how low that she can go
There is a section in The Michael Jackson Tapes (conversations between August 2000 and April 2001) that might explain Michael's affinity for songs about devious women like Heartbreaker:Her only goal is just to take control And I can't believe that I can't tell her no
MJ: It is hard because the women today can do a good job of faking it. I mean a real good job. They are smooth. Look in the Bible. Women have taken the most powerful men down to nothing because of what is between their legs. Samson, nobody could cut his hair, and he had sex with Delilah.
Note that 6 guys (in total) contributed to the lyrics of the 'Heartbreaker' song. There is a section in The Michael Jackson Tapes (conversations between August 2000 and April 2001) that might explain Michael's affinity for songs about devious women like Heartbreaker:
One of them was none other than Michael Jackson.Note that 6 guys (in total) contributed to the lyrics of the 'Heartbreaker' song.
But in terms of lyrics, Michael Jackson demanded and took many undue credits on the 'Invincible' album (with the exception of 'The Lost Children' and 'Speechless').One of them was none other than Michael Jackson.

He really thought (They thought they really had control of me) he really had control of me (Take me, shake me, nobody's gonna break me)
This Time Around

What you can say with certainty is that he could identify with the songs he recorded and probably liked them as much as if he had written them all by himself. Not just lyrics. He has a credit for Whatever Happens and the leaked demo for that shows that MJ had nothing to do with that as a writer. Quite shameful, really.
It leaves you wondering if he really wrote much for Invincible at all - apart from Speechless and Lost Children.
