Pop phenomenon in the late 80s, but her fame was short-lived.
She looked almost identical to Britney.

You are right about that. Debbie Gibson and Britney Spears look alike. My friends have said that before too.
 
Debbie Gibson could actually sing (!) whether she looked like ... (which I don't think she did).
 
britney and debbie look different to me.... they were simply teen pop stars, but britney got bigger and stayed in the game.
 
I remember Debbie. I still have the "Electric Youth" remix single. But I don't think she looks like B. Spears.
 
I don't see it at all. Britney is much more attractive.
