I'm surprised that this hasnt been posted on here, searched for it, but couldnt find, so apologies if it has been posted and I've just not seen it!
1 direction for MJ is holding a fan gathering in London UK on Sat 12th Feb 2011. The purpose of the gathering is to show peacefully how we want justice for MJ.
They plan to give out flyers to the general public, relating to the court trial, and the untimely passing of MJ at the hands of Conrad Murray's negligance. :(
They meet at 13.00 hrs ( 1pm) at Trafalgar Square outside the National Gallery, and the event ends at 17/18.00 hrs ( 5 or 6pm)
They are asking that fans taking part wear their MJ hoodies, but not come in MJ gear as it isnt a singing and dancing event.
An event to raise awareness of the injustice regarding MJ's passing, and to come together as one.
There is also a group on facebook who are teaming up with 1direction for MJ folks, to stand united in our fight for justice 4 MJ and join forces with them together peacefully.

This bit confuses me a little. They want us to wear our hoodies yet not to come in MJ gear?:mello:
 
It's like a demo kind of thing for justice. Great cause, if you guys can go then do. :)
I will be passing this time.

It means not to come dressed in red leather outfits as in Thriller or the say, Billie Jean Black sequined jacket, black fedora hat, etc.........just a respectful sweatshirt or T shirt ( too cold to wear I know!) ............but you get the general idea?
I have a justice 4 MJ sweatshirt......thats the kind of thing they mean, or like your hooded sweatshirt that you wore when we went to see Thriller Live?...................subtle....? :yes:

Just cleaned the thread. This isn't the thread for an argument, this is to advertise a justice demo. If you want to go then great, if you don't then that's fine too. Don't criticise other people in doing so though. It's not the place for it.

Thank you Soph. Sorry it got a bit messy. Not like me at all to get narky, it's just it's a very stressful time isnt it with the trial about to begin....... will pm you actually.......

Ok well just to let you know I am not going because on the very same day I just happen to be going to an environmental awareness conference which will include, but not be solely about, discussion on how many trees are wasted each year on street leaflets that get shoved onto passers by and ultimately end up in the bin. In my speech I will be including references to Michaels words at the start of Earth Song in TII. And anyway I wouldn't be able to go to this demo because I wear a red leather (false - for the sake of the environment) jacket on a daily basis and it would be far too disrespectable (I am JOKING of course!)

OK you've been warned...why are you pushing this? What is your problem with people wanting Justice?
