yes Jermaine probably did say that. The problem is,,,when things like this DO come up...Jermaine and the rest of the family should be ready to defend Michael....not defend the accuser...as Jermaine is now doing. I ahve tweeted LaToya twice....she could give a shit...they dont care,,,,it is time that we ALL get that in our heads...the Jacksons dont care,,,they are too interested in being friends with everyone to defend Michael's name...and that there is a shame. THAT is why Michael stayed away from them..he knew what they were all about,

Frankly, I don't think it's the fans fault. The media picked the story up from OK Magazine, not Twitter.

That video is a fraud.

Daphne Barack & Aaron Carter had this planned all along.

They knew that story would get much leg that is why they sat on it for 2 weeks...and push it this week AFTER MJ's anniversary.

She got her contacts on ONTD to push the story and get it mainstream.

That video she leak to Jermaine (so he could defend her to fans last night) was also planned. She edited out the cocaine segment to make us think Ok Magazine made that quote up.

Daphne Barack CONTINUOUSLY sell stories to tabloids including OK magus ....if this was a misquote, she could have asked for a correction before it hit OK Australia.

This was a well planned PR stunt...and they are getting the last laugh. Because you guys are pushing their own ridiculous and edited piece of garbage to defend the very person they defamed.

this is pure madness.

Fans are helping the very people who are defaming MJ...

You guys need to wake up and stop being tools. They are using you!!! They used fans to spread the original story...now again they are using you to push that ridiculous clip that won't get elf the press the cocaine story got
 
It will be interesting see how much of the second excerpt deals with Michael. For all we know the rest of the interview focusses on Aaron and his family and their issues. Aaron would have to be very stupid to be interviewed so extensively about someone else if he is trying to promote his new album.

I am sick and tired of fans being so narrow minded that they don't see what is happening.

This is a blatant PR stunt at the expense of Michael Jackson's name.

and all you guys are dishing about part 2...**** part 2.... I haven't watched part 1..because I don't want to give these attention-whores what they need.

If you guys feel better watching a nonsensical EDITED clip by the very people who fed a rampant story out there defaming Michael Jackson, than good for you.

They are not even talking about Cocaine anymore...because they have spread that bullshit story and now it's grown legs & arms.

I haven't been on her website, but I am pretty sure no where does she mention the OK Mag quotes or indicate they were fabricated..yet you all are waiting for a freaking part two.

Jermaine is out there defending Aaron Carter while his brother's name is getting dragged thru mud all over the world..and not once did he suggest that his buddy Daphne asks for a retraction from OK.

Anyway, I know I am rambling...because I am beyond myself. That a fabricated story (that even TMZ the lowest of the scums did not even bother reporting) has been spread so quickly for maximum damage ...and those whose very intention was to defame Michael Jackson are now receiving free promotion for their website.

If a strong standard informative email is drafted, different people can email it. Kind of like what PETA does.

It has become clearly obvious to me..that US the fans are the only one's that care enough about Michael to defend him now....letting stuff like this go IS NOT an option. Michael never would of let this go ..he would of fought for his name..and WE would of stood by him all the way. What is the difference now?? I for one haven't watch any clips...I wont give them that satisfaction...what I do want is that story retracted and an apology to Michael.

I agree, it's us the fans who have to find ways to deal with this. The Jacksons are the ones who get to ignore it.

It's already aired on CNN, this isn't going to go away by not talking about it.

WTH is that? There is absolutely no cause for you to go off rambling to her that way. EVERYBODY here is just as upset at what is taking place and we are trying to come up with some solutions to the problem. Members attacking the very ones trying to come up with solutions is not going to solve the problem. How about we focus that anger into a group effort?

Now, is there something that maybe MJJC could do as a community? Maybe if we try to organize something across the fans boards as a united statement? What do you guys think?
 
This frabricated story was floating around a few weeks ago and MJ fans were asking Aaron questions on Twitter. And he ignored them and block some of them. This punk should DENY it!

Thank you Cassie. We all want him to retract it. But we have to think logically about what can be done on our side without relying on him. It is most likely he was in on it from the start.

Does anyone know anyone? Can we attempt to first contact established media outlets like CNN about the story first? How should we approach this? I am tempted to say lets wait until part 2 comes out so we can see if he says it there before we send them part 1 as proof he did not say it. But I know time is of the essence. I am not very good with this sort of thing. I am really at a loss.

ETA: I think that would be great, TheChosenOne. I think the more boards we have speaking unitedly on this, the better.

TheChosenOne, I'm really not sure myself, I don't know what we could do, I do get why fans want to fight back and defend Michael, on the other hand doing that would give this story even more exposure and attention. We're clearly being used as ''tools''.
It's like we're in a dilemma, I really don't know what we could or should do, unfortunately :no:
But I don't think it's good to spread the link to her website around and give her even more clicks, and attention.

Don't expect him to do that anytime soon. The fun has just begun for him. Perhaps long long after he has achieved enough publicity he will deny it. Even then I'm not sure.

This is so sad and pathetic that they want to use a dead man to achieve this.
Not to mention to fabricate a fake story.
I guess the media is either so happy to drag MJ's name or they totally lose their logic thinking.
It's so obvious that this stories are so fake. How come Tom Sneddon never put Aaron on stand. ha

TwinklEE - yeah, I am with you. I have been wrestling with that for the past day or so. If I remember correctly Barak also promised to release the remainder of her interview with Grace about the stomach pumping, etc and she never did. And, as I said before, maybe this second excerpt is not about Michael. I could be wrong. But at least we will know ALL that we are dealing with here.

But if we wait too long (I fear it is too long already) the idea of Michael giving a 15 year old cocaine will be cemented in people's minds.

I am going to write something and then let us take it from there.
 
The first video is edited...yes because it doesn't show the entire interview. But the question about seeing MJ use or seeing him with drugs was asked and ANSWERED CLEARLY with a NO and I never seen him do drugs! So I won't dismiss it whether some like it or not!

Even if the second part he then says MJ gave him cocaine it still doesn't take away the fact that he already answered NO in the first part, it would be him contradicting himself if that happens!
 
Thanks TheChosenOne. Is there any way also that we could create a petition to send to OK magazine to show them that they have a responsibility in this as well and as consumers, we will not stand for this?

Who does Daphne Barack actually work for? Maybe we could contact her employers and make a stink over that? Maybe we could contact sponsors of OK magazine to try to get them to put pressure on the magazine?
