Announcement: Hollywood Tonight – Second Single - Announcement From Sony Page 26

^^^^

You're right. Sorry.

'Music Week' is the most reputable music magazine in the UK, and it is linked to the Official Charts. They don't normally get this kind of thing wrong as far as I'm aware.

I'm not sure what they mean by "released" though. CD release? Perhaps we will get more information from Sony in the next couple of weeks. A CD release, with various mixes, would be great though!

Why is it that there is absolutely NO information about the coming singles on MJ's official homepage ??

Because that would mean some sort of promotion and that would be crazy.

it's alright! I just though the article would explain what the release is about. I guess it's the physical single.

Very frustrating indeed. :(

Given Sony's most recent financial results, I understand them wanting to save a few bucks on major advertising. However, I am completely shocked by their handling of "low cost" promotion on social networks and on Michael's official homepage. Honestly, I get the sense that they are making up things as they go along. There doesn't appear to be any cohesive strategy whatsover.

Was it a remixed version of HT or the album version?

On www.michaeljackson.com Polish Version is information about "Hollywood Tonight" is the second single from the album.I translate the information

"The second single from the platinum album Michalea Jackson 'MICHAEL'appears in the Polish radio stations already on February 14. After enjoying a continued great success in radio stations singles' Hold My Hand 'duet with Akon, this time the choice was maintained in the faster tempo dance with a distinctive, melodic chorus composition' Hollywood Tonight. "The song produced by Teddy Riley featuring, involving vocal Taryll Jackson can be heard in the new, in a special radio mix. Music video for the single "Hollywood Tonight" can be expected at the end of February.

The single 'Hollywood Tonight' will not appear in Poland on the CD single. However, the song can be purchased as an mp3 file.

Album 'Michael' was released on 13 December 2010 and the first week of sales went platinum in 14 countries. In Poland, the puck went to the honorable, # 3 position in the best-selling albums."

The quicker people come to terms with the fact that Sony are going to quite literally piss MJ's legacy up a wall, the less disappointed they will be. Expect the worst people, expect the worst.

Couldn't agree with you more.

my god, what a mess, Sony isn't even able to put a decent statement on MJ.com providing official dates and what country is getting what. absolutely ridiculous!

It can't get worse. (Quality-wise) we 've hit the bottom with the "Michael" release. (Quantity-wise) we may get a similar second and/or third release.

As for the HT second single, I don't even consider it a single. It's not even physical CD and the mp3 is already available for download.

If we get a video to coincide, I expect a mediocre montage of videos from Bucharest concert, music videos and generally nothing new.

And really, after "This is it" soundtrack, "Vision", and "Michael", can you blame me for thinking like that?

Just heard HT on the italian radio (premiered today).
Organ intro cut, still the spoken bridge (I would have removed it).

I managed to record it.

Thing is, will it be physical singles or just digital downloads!? Who care sabout digital single, you can already download single songs!
