Anyone getting MJ-tattoo in London this summer?

I was thinking about getting an MJ-tattoo on my trip to London, that would be perfect! And a great memory..

Anyone who has the same thoughts? And places recommended in London, to get a tattoo?
 
Great Idea....
One of my friends wants to have a tattoo with the date of her first MJ concert this year.
This will be July 8th :)

Aw wow, that's a good idea! I love tattoo's, I had one on my foot just last week! I would maybe consider a date or something like that. :yes:
 
I have been thinking about getting the logo done for a long time now and after reading your post maybe this is the best year to have it done.

I want it small somewhere - not sure where though thats whats stopping me. I thought either back of my neck, hip or top of my bum!
 
oooh i've never really thought of this... maybe on the lower wrist..ive been meaning to get a tattoo for years but have always wussed out! mjj with the date would be cool

O and i would recommend camden, lots of tattoo places there

if i'm lucky enough to get a personal fresh signature from Michael, sure i will do it!

i tried to last night! I thought I might as well get one (bad times at the moment) and it will mean so much, but they were all gone!!! I cant believe i didnt get one when you told me now!

But you no i will keep you updated on my 8th july ticket hunt and if succsesful, why we could just very well go and do that!!

ahh damn, i just checked an yeah 8th july is all sold out now, only vip hotel packages left! I will keep my fingers and toes crossed that you get your ticket tho! :)
 
What tattoo places are recommended in London? :)

I've always wanted to tattoo "unbreakable" on my back, with MJ's logo above that one.. I don't know if I'll do it though.
 
I've been thinking about getting a MJ tattoo for a very long time now, but just can't figure out how or what. I'm sure I wanna have a sentence from one of his songs on my wrist, just dont know which song. I really like the idea of getting ''We've had enough'' on my wrist, but on the opposite way, so that the words aren't facing me, but the public so it will be a kind of message or ''protest''. :p I also like man in the mirror, but those sentences are just too damn long, maybe I wanna have the ''If you wanna make the world a better place ...bladiebla'' on my wrist too.

I'm also thinking about ''Every path you take you're leaving your legacy'' on the back of my neck, so it's kinda hidden.

Would be great to get one in London, thing is ... I'm 17 and need parental permission, which I certainly won't get, so I guess I need to wait till im 18 and take a tattoo overhere. Still need to think about what I want tho.
 
i always wanted a MJ tattoo, but my parents are killing me, if im going to do that -.-

:bugeyed I have the exact same idea except I want it along my left foot, on the same side as my MJ sig tattoo which is on my ankle! *lmao* Great minds, dude! :D

I've been thinking about getting another MJ tattoo for a while now. If I get one it'll be my 3rd. I like the idea of getting one whilst in London, I'm not sure why considering there are some great places where I live.

I have 2 or 3 ideas in my head at the moment and I actually came up with another last night which I'm going to put on the back burner for a little while until I decide what to get.
 
Be careful with Camden lots of crap tattoo places there too. My 7 recommendations and I suggest you contact them now to book in advance. These are quality studios so therefore in demand.

Please don't think just because you want something small or simple that it means any tom dick and harry can do it. I m thinking about it too and I want Mj name with "this is it "on my hip and I want it to be done in London.

I'm seriously thinking about it now. I've got loads of ideas but don't really know what to go for. I definitely wanna incorporate the dates somehow. So hard to choose what and where. I would have it on my foot if I didn't already have one on there. :bugeyed

i'd get it done on my hip i think, or maybe on my rib.
i'd probably get the mj logo with the date of the concert i'm attending and maybe a lyric. one of the lines out of 'music and me' springs to mind!

No probs Tattoos are my passion it's what I want to do.

As for who I think is best? All depends what style your after, I wish to god I could afford to get an MJ tattoo done whilst I was in London. In all the shops there is more than one artist, they can all specialise in different things. Have a good browse through the websites it might give you ideas of how to make your tattoo super unique whoever's work makes you drool go to them. I personally would love work from Inma at Evil from the Needle but she works all over the place and probably wouldn't be in London when I wanted her to be. I'm thinking of getting my calf tattooed, I'd love a portrait in it and some text. If you let the artist run with a few ideas they could come up with something really cool.

Hmmmm the idea is too good I think I'm gonna go speak to her on myspace...
 
sounds cool! Seing MJ live and then getting a tatto!
But I already got two MJ-tattos.. so if I am going to have another tattoo... I don't think it will be one of him :)

Watch out for wrong tattoo-studios. You don’t want to end up with a really bad tattoo or any diseases like Aids. Cause; Yes! You can get that by choosing the wrong studio.
(hehe sorry - I just had to say that, feel that I have to - important for ppl to know)
