But Michael told Bashir on LWMJ that he was making his bed and singing and Katherine heard him sing, ran downstairs to Joe and said "You've gotta' hear Michael" but Joe was saying no because Jermaine was the lead singer but eventually Joe heard Michael sing and replaced Jermaine.
