All this talk about the UK...now I'm starting to read your posts with an accent in my head. :lol:

I've been to Paris, Nice, Monaco, Pisa, Rome, and Barcelona. Granted it was a crazy tour for two weeks with a bunch of people I hated but it was still super amazing. I loved what I've seen of Europe buttt I love me some America. It's just so big and crazy...I want to road trip sometime, there are still a lot of places I want to see in my own country before I go abroad again.

I don't know, I'll probably go there one day depending on what kind of career I end up with since London is a fashion capital!

The huuuuuuge trend forecasting company WGSN is located in London! I would kill to work for them...so awesome.

Saying London is the fashion capital is like saying the USA is well known for its soccer.

By London you dont mean the whole of it. Most areas of London are VERY grimey, and you should avoid them. Things like gang wars, violence and different races attacting each other go on there.

The main city is where it all happens and thats only a small part of London.

So really its more well known for its diverse culture. You should look for work in Paris, definitely :)

Sorry I had to say that, I just live so close to London and tend to avoid it at all costs :angel:

That reminds me of Brixton... remember that area, it didn't feel very safe...

I really, really like some parts of London though :) Been there the first time when I was 16.

It's just that I remember we were passing through Brixton and I saw people on the streets, and I saw a small black boy sitting on the tube steps with that completely absent expression on his face - we were gone, came back after 2 hours, he was still in the same place, didn't move, didn't blink, didn't change face expression, didn't look at us, nothing. As if he didn't exist inside his own body. I just stuck in my head for good :(

Well the same can be said for any city. There's bad parts everywhere...

There are many fashion centers of the world, NYC, LA, Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Shanghai...London still fits in there. London fashion week is huuuuuuge.
